Ever noticed that some of the most beautiful women can also be the most lonely of all? I am not saying this is the case with everyone! I wonder why this is the case? Of course, maybe a few will have an off-putting personality such as having no manners or are just plain rude, so perhaps that's why these attractive ladies are lonely. But I've also seen many other who are really nice, with good hearts and pleasing manners towards everyone. Plus the ladies I know are also very intelligent and well-read. And yet they are home alone. You would think that they will be asked out all the time but they're not, and sometimes they only have one good girlfriend. Any philosophies, insights, experiences?

P.S. I am a woman myself- not necessarily pretty in my own eyes.

I mean, yea I know it's normal to want sex but I also know that a lot of girls get tired of it because that's all they seem to want sex. Where do girls draw the line as to how sexual a guy can be, without thinking they're a bad person or a pervert or something?

My best friend of 8 years was in an argument with a mutual friend of mine. A frivoulous argument over who called who ... very immature, and I chose to stay out of it. We are in our mid 20s and I found this immature. I invited my friend to a get together of mine, and my best friend was furious! I did not do this to make her angry, I really didn't think twice about inviting my other friend because I am grown and can be friends with whomever I choose. This get together was not one at which my best friend would be at anyways for other reasons. My best friend began sending me all of these mean emails, and even called my boyfriend and started telling him EVERY secret I had just about ever told her...some of them about him. That completly broke the trust I had in her. I haven't spoken her since this happened about 4 months ago. Recently she located me on MySpace and started sending me messages, pretending to be someone from my past that I had a problem with and she knew about. Dump her?

I don't really know if I should or not. Last night I was at this dance/fundraiser thing the high schoolers put on for the middle schoolers. I have social anxiety disorder, and I knew tonight it was really going to be bad and wasn't sure if I should go. But I went because I knew it would probably be one of my last chances to do anything like this. But it was worse than it has ever been. I was visibly distressed, and people noticed and were asking if I was okay. The thing is these two girls who are my friends were so nice to me and I was nice but just couldn't talk to anybody last night. They know me pretty well and understand I have some kind of problem but the thing is they're so outgoing it might be hard for them to understand me. I don't know if I should apologize and explain that I have social anxiety disorder. I don't care if they know honestly but I don't know if that's telling them too much. I just want them to understand and know I like them.

He and I have dated for 5 yrs and he caters to his kids who are all adults. He is 54 and they are all married and have families. He says we cannot get married because I dont get along with his kids. They treat me like crap. They cannot shut up about his ex wife and I would be money on it that her name will come up and they will want to discuss her in some way. Its really aggrivating and I am sick of it. She is re married and he continues to try to satisfy their relationship with this woman who clearly has moved on. I took his mother and him out for his birthday dinner which cost me a fortune, and she ends up discussing the ex. She is in the past. I dont understand why they cannot move on past her. I have dated before and never seen anything like this. His 26 yr old daughter stayed at his house for about a yr and kept inviting this ex over and chumming with her. I think I should avoid them all. What do you think? Its hopeless. This ex is not the mother of his children.

My Grandmother is going to be 90 in April.

She has in-home nursing and the woman stays with her 24/7.

My Grandmother is a very mean woman, barks out orders, and makes the people that have nursed for her in the past very uncomfortable.

My family would never, ever put her in a home, but is their something we can do so that she's not so difficult to live with? Or is this just an age thing and to be expected?

There's this really big guy like Bonecrusher's size who really likes me, but I don't feel the same way about him and that's not because he is overweight. He just isn't my type personality-wise and I also just feel no attraction whatsoever to him. i'm 22, so i am aware that this sounds a bit immature, but my bff of 10 years has always been a major copycat. let me explain. i wanna move to NY after i graduate, she's never been there and always says she wants to live near the beach in LA after college, but now she suddenly is looking for jobs in NY. also, she has tons of hobbies/activities that i don't take part in (dancing, surfing, etc.) b/c those things "just aren't my thing" but i respect that they are "her thing." meanwhile, whenever i take up a hobby or finally have something that i feel i can call "my thing" (photography, fashion design) she has to do that too. it's like even with her busy schedule, she still always has to do everything that i do as well. i know photography and fashion design aren't exclusive to me alone, but c'mon now. i look for new things just so i can have my own life, but she always follows me! i never have any stories to tell her or activities to "share" w/ her b/c she's right there w/ me every time!

ok, I have been at the same job for some time... i love the people i work with, but i am taking another job starting Monday that will pay more and give me a better variety of jobs... i am suppose to work ALL day today till 7pm tonight... as much as i love this job, i am just exhausted...

My girlfriend and i live in a small city right now and want to move to a bigger city with more job opportunities. The problem is, it doesnt make sense for us to move to a new city and get 2 seperate apartments, so we were thinking about moving in together. My problem comes from my parents I guess, they are both conservative christian types and would disapprove of me living with my girlfriend, i dont think its a big deal, but i dont want them not liking her anymore, or me. This move wouldnt happen for about 6 months. How would you proceed?

Im 21years old, and just moved back home with dad after a break up. i pay £15 a week. and come and go as i please. (i wash, cook and clean for myself).

Iv had the chance to lodge with a cousin of mine. (same age, enjoys partying to etc) we get on really well... for £60 per week.

I have no savings, but can afford it.

I love my family, but i dont get on with my step mom, and i dont feel comfotable in the house.

iv never had a family home, my step mom is house proud, so if you use something its put away after you finish it. wash, you clean your dishes b4 u eat the food...

should i move?

or should i stay home, get some savings and consider something later on in the year!
