"We meant the right to fair pay and the choice to stay home and raise children or work outside the home."
That sounds good, can we get that too?
Seriously ... in the short run I'd say its been bad, but in the long run, who knows. Things really have been ripped apart. A lot of women now feel even more pressures then before to act in some ways, and a lot of women seem to have conflicts between what they think they _should_ want, and what they actually want. Meanwhile men, we're being brought up not even considering what we might want, we just stare dumbly at our partners saying 'uh, what do you want to do'. As you can imagine, they find that really sexy and masculine.
Hopefully things evolve further, I think right now people are being brought up without a good basis for a relationship, and are trying to figure one out as they go.

Womens liberation has completely side stepped the reason it began.
Number one we are still not on the same pay scales as our male counterparts. Also, and equal footing on education, getting into colleges of our choice and ability. Yes, we now have the right to go to work full time in pretty much the employment of our choice. But, as far equal pay, that has not been met.
Relationship wise, well now we have the right to work full time and keep the house full time. Wow, isn't this great.
The radically liberal women have made great strides in tearing the family base apart. Giving stay at home mothers and wives a bad name. Many of these mothers and wives are educated professions which have chosen to stay home. But our liberal profession sisters have done a great deal demean this position. Staying at home is one of the hardest jobs, with the least respect.
We missed the boat on Womens Liberation. We meant the right to fair pay and the choice to stay home and raise children or work outside the home.
No it has not helped relationships, it has made it to easy for partners to call it quits in the midst of problems instead of working them out.

between the excuses for the girls persons's liberation flow became into women persons wanting to artwork exterior the homestead to assist financially help the kin, so it became right into a result, no longer a reason. women persons being considered people particularly than assets isn't the reason for the financial device occurring the rest room. this is absurd. teenagers having get admission to to speedy hearth weaponry has extra to do with the upward push at school killings. the upward push of rapid nutrition has a lot of its reason in the unfavourable financial device that demands 2-income families. the cost of youngster abuse, forget, and so on. hasn't gotten larger -- it was hidden, now it relatively is reported and dealt with, that's a stable ingredient. i've got considered people blame comparable lists of woes to the coaching of technology, particularly than theology, in colleges, and all different forms of stupid connections. in basic terms on account which you in my opinion do no longer think of girls persons are people, with minds, with rights, would not propose that each and each undesirable ingredient that has befell is by using maximum persons's disagreeing with you. feels like the Taliban are re-taking Afghanistan. perchance you may prefer to bypass there; it appears that evidently like in basic terms the form of way of life you may love.

absolutely not! Womens lib has done nothing to improve relationships between men and women. It has done more harm than good.
