In the 1950's radio quiz master Wilfred Pickles asked a contestant if he'd ever thought of divorce? The reply was 'No, never- Murder, yes.' This was because couples stayed together 'For the sake of the children.' The rows continued and the children watched. Are children any better off today with two or three 'Dads'. My ones seem happy but I sometimes wonder that they are troubled and confused.

My boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship. We see each other about once a month. He has been telling me lately how much he hates the fact that we are so far from each other and something has to be done about the distance. He is coming to visit me next weekend, however, he told me tonight that before he comes to see me in my town, he wants to visit a couple, who are his good friends. I cannot help feeling like he could have invited me up there but he told me tonight that it's not his place so he cannot decide for that? I feel quite upset with it? So he will only spend with me a short time and then I will not see him for a long time again. This couple is going back to Australia in March so he may be doing it now as he probably won't meet them but I cannot help feeling hurt about it?

I am getting married in August. My Fiance', Ryan, would love for his former Step-Dad to attend, but he has lost his number and can't get anywhere. I have never had to track someone down before especially out of state. His name is Paul M. Wilson in Hainesville TX and also has a post office box in Mineola TX. Ryan's Mom's name is Jan. My ex husband has chosen not to be part of our 4 yr old sons life. He was abusive and is now on his 3rd child since we split up 3 yrs ago. My son asks alot about him and I kinda dance around the answers and just tell him that his dad lives far away and maybe when you are older you can see him. He asks if he could call him but we haven't heard from him in over a year. (I don't know where he lives all I know is somewhere in Delaware and I don't have a phone number)There has been no birthday cards or christmas cards since we split. How do I approach this with my son? How can I make sure that his fathers lack of care and concern for his son won't ruin my son.

ok so ive just got bak with my ex boyfriend who cheated on me,the reason for this is that i did cheat on him too so ive decided to give him another chance and i do think that i still love him.

the problem is that my family and friends tell me i can do better, i just dont know. i dont wanna make a big mistake.

i been separated for 14 years havent seen the father of the 5 children we had , so i raised them by myself and 3 children are grown now,two still live with me . well been dating the same person for 4 years have a child and really want to get married, i cannot find my(x) husband or where his where abouts , tried to get a divorce and well cost to much and moved so that never happened, if we got married could it be legal since i havent seen or heard from him in all these years?
