The break up, date other people but throughout the entire time they are still secretly meeting to bang.
Come on..tell me this is not common.

Hi,
I'm not sure if this counts but I've stayed single for the past 3 yrs because of a bloke I have a sexual relationship with. He isn't interested in a relationship with me, but he's quite content screwing me from time to time. However, as no doubt you've realised I've fallen in love with him so, though I've dated several eligable young men I've never even fancied any of them. (too wrapped up in my "friend")

You dont have to be a man to do this. Sometimes you meet a man who is just too good to let go. You wouldnt marry them, but they get under your skin. You wouldnt even take them home to meet the parents, but they have an undeniable attraction.

very common, there's no denying good sex
a man and a woman can get a long perfectly well personality wise, but the sex just be, blah... those people may choose to just remain friends.
the opposite can be true, a man and a woman can be completely incompatible personality wise, but the sex is gangbusters, so they may choose to just remain f*ck buddies.
the ultimate goal is to find someone you get along with really well and have awesome sex with, that's the person you want to marry.

I used to see this guy at college some time back. It was wild and passionate. Every time I bump into him we always end up somewhere having sex - no strings attached, even when we have both had partners.

i was with a girl once and we had pretty great sex alot of the time, but after a couple of months of this mind blowing lovin' i figured out the rest of this relationship is awful and not making me happy at all, so we split up and nothing more has come of it!
