a soulmate...hmm..the meaning of a soulmate is far more deeper than anything i can put into words for you..i could do my very best and still not be able to explain what the true meaning of a soulmate is cuz that one person is soo precious that finding them can take a lifetime..well to make it a bit easier..it's a person who is with you in every difficult moment of life..who will never back down from protecting you and be your shield when you face trouble and harm..a person who takes your pain away in such a unique way..a person who is willing to sacrifice anything for you...and that who will love you for the most special reasons..when looking into his or her eyes makes you lost..as if you're in heaven..that's how you know..that's the best i can do..sorry if i couldnt help

"Soul-mate" is a term that people define differently. This is how I define it:
A person with whom one feels a unique and superlative connection that transcends his or her physical and/or emotional attraction to the person
This is how I know that I've found mine:
We dated for four years, we broke up multiple times, we broke up for good about 8 months ago, we've both dated other people, both slept with other people, we're both okay with that, and we both have no plans to ever get back together necessarily...
...and yet we still love each other more deeply than we've loved another and would give anything to see the other happy in life.

A soul mate or kindred spirit is someone that will love you for you and you for them.
How do you know?
-When you finish each other's sentences or thoughts.
-When you laugh and cuddle more than you argue.
-When you think of each other and show that you think of each other.
-When you WANT to go everywhere together.
-When you protect each other.
-When everyone around you can always see and feel the love between you and know it's real.
-When the communication is awsome and you can agree to disagree.
Some don't think this exists but my relationship is just this and it hasn't been perfect because nothing is, but we both know we are better people because we are together.
One more thing, know who you are compatible with zodiac wise, there is a book called Sexual Astrology, check it out and compare it to people you know or have been involved with, I guarantee you will be amazed and surprised, it makes a difference.

My definition of a soul mate is a partner I would love to be with my whole life. I'd love her until the day I died, and she'd do the same for me.

your soul mate is some one who views the world the same way you do. You just know when you have found him/her. You don't have to be in love with them but just love to be around them and always enjoy talking to them.
I found mine ... he just makes me happy taking to him ( he is married w/kids and his wife makes fun of us all the time and tells us that we are two of a kind)
