It is a compliment.
It means that you have some good qualities that she likes and that her son should do all that he can to continue your relationship.
M Maybe she liked your inteligence, or your politeness or something and she knows that there are other girls who might not be this way.
She could be hinting wedding bells or that he should eventually marry you.
But, for now, it mjut means that she approves of you dating and hopes that you continue.
