im a freshman in high school and i dont wanna go over the top with this but i dont wanna go to small with the whole only just flowers thing. ive been thinking of some ways but id like to hear some ideas.
ive got until monday cuz thats when im asking her. help will be appreciated =)

In person would be nice. Just ask her if she's like to go with you. She'll appreciate your directness. Maybe something like: "I'd really like if if you'd go with me to the Winter Formal Dance... would you like to?" If the part about giving her flowers was in regard to doing that when you ask her, I don't think you should. It will feel much more comfortable to you both if you just ask her. Good Luck. :)

Your assuming that she hasn't been asked already. Don't give her flowers when you ask her to the dance.... this will put pressure on her to say "yes"..... that will make her uncomfortable...and that's the last thing you want to do! IF SHE SAYS YES.......Flowers are nice ... and pretty much standard for a formal dance. A nice corsage... or a wristlet depending on the type of dress she'll be wearing....... ask her or her mom for a swatch of material from the dress. Give that to the florist so he can match the flowers to it. How about taking her to her favorite nice restaurant for dinner before the dance?? It all depends on how much you like this girl, and how much that's worth to you. How nice would you like to treat her? AND..... what kind of message are you sending her?? Is this gonna be a one-time shot..... or are you hoping for a closer relationship??

i think your girl would like it if you did something original. ok. obviously. duh....that did not help! brownies and sweet stuff?
that might work...specially decorate with her name and like...well this is only if youre this kinda guy, but one of my guy friends asked one of my other friends to this dance with a plate with a "cake" of brownies (like the browies were straight out of the pan, non-cut) and the words "go to the dance with me, kacy?" in icing. it was really sweet! ...ok........dont take that as a pun. please dont . its stupid like that, but other wise its fine. ok if your not that type of guy, give her a note and tell her to meet you after school somewhere to reply to it or something. flowers are very predictable. dont do that!!!! jewelry if shes that kinda girl...that might be a bit expensive though....maybe a "coupon" for dinner for two at her fave restaurant before the dance ?really, only you could decide what would be best for her....best of luck and hope my rambling helped!!!! much luv, caitlynnnn
