am so shy its painful.I have few friends and never had a serious boyfriend and i am 20 years old. I should be having the time of my life. I go to community college and have had one person after a presentation actually tell me "wow thats the first time I heard you talk" I dont like being shy because I feel invisible to people and to some I think I am. Guys seem to get frustrated because getting to know me and get me to come out of my shell is like pulling teeth. Its not that I am ugly, but I am not great looking. I've been told I am cute and people who know me love my personality. I just feel like my shyness is holding me back and I want to get over it but how?

its mainly becuase i really like this guy, and i just dont know what to do about it. but its also other things like the stress of school, friends, dance. i dont know what to do. ive tried talking to my friends about it, but they werent really much help. and i dont want to talk to my parents about it, im just not that close to them. i also began using a pen to cut lines onto my hand, it takes away the mental pain. i just dont know what to do.

I've been with my man only a month and he drinks all the time! Last night he got super drunk and was hitting on girls in front of me and when I called him out on it when I was driving him home he got really mad and jumped out of the car. He said today he was just drunk and acting dumb, but how can I trust him if this is how he acts when I'm around-what is he doing when I'm not there??!!!

I've been duped by many "dating" partners, wherein I was exclusive and loyal, but they were carrying on with several women. If a relationship has become physical (in a month), and then there's no contact for a week--or more--and the guy seems sincerely apologetic about being so busy...what's the underlying "truth"?
I've set up the previous dates, but am plagued by the fact there's no reciprocity. Is the message "he's just not that into you" -- is that "pop psychology" at work, and if the guy seems worth "waiting for" ... or having as a friend...if he doesn't call, should I just let this thing die? I cannot carry the relationship alone. Any marriages out there that started this way and gradually improved?

Okay, I'm black and I'm tryin' to fit in with this popular clique everyone is really nice but they can be sooo mean like last year they decorated everybody in the cliques locker except mine and i've been trying to hang out with them since 3rd grade and now they put like 6 other girls infront of me ex. in gym they pick teams of 4 and it's three girls from my elementary clique and a new girl im not exactly what u call funny too im really shyyy and they save everyone spots at lunch except me...I basicaly feel like the odd one out and nobody invites me to their birthday if im friends with them i will be popular but how can i get their attention and feel comfortable with it

Well me and my girl of 9 years are going to break up. I wanna break up with her, I love her a lot and all but basically she's going to become a cop and I am a Firefighter and I just can't marry a future cop. Anyway, I suspect she's cheating on me anyway with another cop so hopefully she can get with him. It's just that I need to do my studies and as a career Firefighter I want to meet a lot of women and new people. So hopefully she is cheating on me so I have a way out, because whenever I TRY to end it, she gets all upset and makes me feel bad. I even bluntly told her, "go out with him!" and she said, "you want me to be with him, well thats not happening!" so who cares anymore. im over that.

My thing is, our child. He is only 3, and is it possible for the guy to get full custody?? Anyway I can just man up and end it with her?

OK. So spend a night over my male friends house everyweekend and we always sleep in the bed together for the past 5 months. We've never had sex or anything. But last week after being 2 weeks late, last weekend I started my period and (thanks to tampons) had a little accident in his bed. ok tonight are family was deciding where to eat, i said we should go to friendlys and everybody agreed, then my dad said what about chinese and i said no that i didnt like chinese.everybody then wanted chinese. so i said that if they went to chinese that i wasnt comming and was just going to stay home. and they were like no u can get something else and bring it it (i said no because im 14 and dont want to look like a little kid or sit out in the car) they then said well bring you back something and i said no that i was exetremely hungry. the problem is that they all went to chinese instead of leaving my dads fat a$$ here and us bringing him something back. This really made me made because he likes friendlys and chinese but i dont like chinese. so he should have let me the son go to friendlys. do u agree?

My mum and I have always had a tight relationship untill recently. I've hit my teenage years and I've just been a little crazy. She sees it as treason twards her.
