Well she either likes you too uch and is shy so she won't talk to you or she knows you like her and doesn't want you to get the wrong impression. My advice-talk to her about it.

The cold shoulder either means that she's starting to like you and doesn't want you to know, or she's just showing her true colors.

Yes! Girls do that to guys like playing hard to get. They do that so you will chase them! I guess it worked because it sounds like you like her a little more. Ask her out. What do you have to loose? And if it wasn't supposed to hurt, it wouldn't be called a crush.

well, try to talk to her and if she ignores you then ask questions.
try to find out why she is giving you a cold shoulder and try to fix it if you like her enough.
