If it wasnt his place to invite you but there good enough friends for it to be that important for him to visit them why doesnt he ask them if he can bring you.He must know them well enough if theyre that important to visit.Ask him to ask them if it would be ok to bring you as he hasnt much time to see you & wants to see you & his friends. This should be no problem as its a natural thing to do in these circumstances. Also if theyre going back to Australia there wont be many other,if any, chances for you to meet them & he should want you to meet his friends especially if theyre good friends.

Actually, I think you have a right to be upset. As he claims they are such good friends, he could have asked the couple if he could bring you. If it wasn't convenient to have you both at their place then you could have booked into a bed and breakfast or something and had a nice weekend with each other including visiting his mates. However, the best revenge is always to live well so when he is away with his friends, make sure you go out and have a great time. That way, he can't enjoy the pleasure of you sitting waiting for him! I don't think its worth having the conversation with him as if he doesn't get why you are hurt now, he never will! If you have been out with your friends then you can rabbit on about what a great time you had and he will get the message the hard way. Good luck. Play it cool.

This is oen of the inevitable setbacks of a long-distance relationship. When you are in the same town, you feel like you ought to spend every minute together... but there are other people in your lives. He has every right to visit his friends whom he won't see again for years, and you have every right to wish that he was spending more time with you.
Yeah, the situation's not fun, but it's really nobody's fault. You agreed to a long-distance relationship - if it gets too hard, you'll have to end it or find a way to lessen the distance.

I understand your hurt . He could ask them if he could introduce you to them if its in the same area. You could visit and be taken back home and allow him the time to have a private visit. Australia is a long way and he may want to spend some private time with them. If you are secure in your relationship let him go with your blessings.

It is natural for you to be upset about it as you obviously miss him so much! It is true though that it is not his choice to invite you up there. You never know, it could be a blessing in disguise . . . he might give you a little something extra when he sees you. I'm sure his little trip won't mess things up for the two of you, you just have to be strong and don't ruin it all by being bossy. good luck doll x

Hi yes i would feel upset and i will tell him, but lads dont think , you think they dont care but they dont realise what they do and the more you confront tem the more they think they have done nothing wrong, but all say is forget all tjhat and enjoy the time you have with him. Life is to short to argue and if you want a long distance relatinship then expect things to change, but he will still be your man and love you. So dont worry

as an isolated incident id say dont worry, but when i read your other questions i wonder whether this relationship is right for either of you..your boyfriend is obviously confused and you say you are quite needy and insecure... maybe this isnt a healthy relationship for you...i dont mean to seem cruel but if you are unhappy more than you are a happy in a relationship it is not working. you need someone to make you feel wanted , loved and special, this man obviously is not makiong you feel this way... i would suggest saving yourself a lot of heartache and keeping your dignity by moving on.

don't be upset you have rest of weekend and being cross with him won't help as you will regret when he goes again as for the other couple they probably will never ever see him again ,but also maybe you two will in the future go travelling and he now has mates in Australia so free accommodation

dont be sad abt another persons actions..u have said that u would have like to go as well..and he gave u his reasons...our upsets and miseries r caused by ourselves...dont dwell on it and let it upset u..we can not make another person think like us or behave like us..we can only control our own behaviour...be happy he is visiting his friends..and make the most of wot time u have with ur boyfriend..
