My dad's been smoking since his 20's and now he's in his 40's and I've tried many things to persuade my dad to quit smoking like tell him many facts about how hazardous smoking is to the body, all the chemicals in it, etc but nothing works. I have told him to try to quit smoking so many times but he won't give it up. Could anyone give me excellent advice on how to persuade my father to stop the smoking?? I'd really appreciate it if you helped me by giving me at least one piece of advice/information. Thank you.

well i was 8 and she died from cancer and it is really hard it been 3 years what do i do to like get over it and if u lost a mom and dad u will know so plz help me i really miss her and stuff but i want to get over it and stop crying all the time bc i was in class and it was muffin with mom and some one came up to me and said she can't go bc she doesn't have a mom and i started crying since then i always cry when i think about her what should i do if u help thx!

Ok so my 2 guy friends are coming over Monday night, they pushed me to watch a scary movie (when i didnt want to at all!!!) i told them that i would be too scared and they said thats alright!! we will be there with you. Now: do you think that they wanted to watch a scary movie so that i would freak out and we could "cuddle" or do they really want to watch a scary movie???

how do i keep a convorsation going? i'll get the person to talk, but i dunno how to keep it going! i try to ask questions and all, but i just end up saying 'ohh, cool!' or 'wow!' the whole time. it's more embaressing for me rather than shameful!

i like a girl who is working at the same place,
she's 4 years younger than me,
i'm 20
i started wooing her, at 1st it was all normal,
but as thing goes by it starts to be disasterous.
i started cooking barley, buying her snacks, and even drew a comic for her when she is down.
but her reaction to me was still very cold.
after 2 months of knowing her.
i give her a call, confess.
she told me not to waste time, get a better girl, she's not worth it , even if i try harder again she will not give me chance, and she told me she doesn't have the FEEL available. i told her it's alright, i will wait for u.
she was like, he's such a boring guy. every qn i asked she just, yeah , ya n etc.
i think theres a possibility that she fall for else.
but is there really a solution to my problem?
i need to win her heart over, advice?
how can i start to win her heart even when she start avoiding me?

Ok I know your thinking this is really childish to be trying to cover up a hickey. A guy (single) she met at my house whom she still wants to be with. She aborts and doesn't tell him. Starts new job and now sleeping with a man from work that she has barely known for 3 months and he's married. I liked this woman very much but I am totally disgusted. She has the guy come over after her young children are asleep. I hurt because my husband cheated on me and even though it was almost 11 yrs ago I haven't forgotten and I don't think I will ever forgive. Her house is in turmoil why would she help put someone else's house in turmoil. Her husband is the biggest loser on the planet but her recent actions leave my disgusted. Has she no common sense or self respect and what about reputation. Do I live in a world where people have lost all morals and judgement. Or am I wrong and that is the way the world is now. I called her my friend but she is also my neighbour. How can I be a friend when everyone else says go for it! Maybe I'm the one that's wrong

There is this boy. we are both 14. Thank you all for your support. I was raging mad last night. But, before I went to him about it- I read your emails and went to bed. In the moring, I woke up and had some time to myself to think. Then, I confronted him and things are looking up. We talked and I feel better than when I get really upset about it. I think he does too. It really isn't the tobacco that is the problem- it is the lying. But, thanks to you I am using a new method and hoping that things get better. Thank you so much!
