We're having a 2nd wedding and also have everything for the house already. Some of our family is chipping in together and putting $ towards our honeymoon. If you know where they're going, you could call the place ahead of time and line up dinner for two, a massage package, etc.

Other ideas would be towels, new pots and pans, new sheets, and other items that couples are always in need of. Maybe new houseplants, or even a certificate to a local nursery so they can get new plants for the spring/summer?

The idea of gift certificates is also a great one, so they can get what they want if you're unsure, and sometimes it goes over better than just giving money. Perhaps give one to their favorite restaurant, or to the movies, or even a local theater?

Donate to charity in their name.

Try to find a charity that would be somewhat personalized for them. A local chapter of Habitat for Humanity in their favorite vacation spot, a literacy foundation if they like to read, a theater organization if they like that sort of thing. Also try Heifer.org, a charity that gives livestock and livestock care training to people all over the world.

Gift certificates for their favorite restaurants. Tickets to an event that they both will enjoy. Hope this helps to get you thinking. If they are registered somewhere that can help.

I dont know anything specific but get them something that they will both could use together and enjoy. Yeah, I know that could be anything but think of what kind of people they are and base it off of that.

I like cash. Of course, a weekend at a b&b would be neat too.

So did we, so we asked "no gifts please" on our invitations...some people ignored that request and got us things like candles and holders, wind chimes, certificates to our favorite restaurants...we liked them all! :)
