She doesn't seem to understand why it never lasts for more than a couple weeks. She always tells these guys that they can be friends with benefits, but she flips out when they date someone else. She seems otherwise intelligent, but she cries about these guys for days afterward. She is divorced and has a young son. Why does she act so crazy, and what could motivate her to stop this nonsense?

We haven't talked for a long time (see my other question) but I really do want to get her something just because of the way I feel about her. On the other hand, if I do get her something she might think I still give her too much power (over me). But then if I don't, she might think I must not care about her at all. It probably seems like that anyway since I started ignoring her, but I don't know what she's thinking or feeling. what do I do?

Im still hanging out with a guy who for 3 months told me he wanted to be serious but needed to work out issues with an x. We were having regular sex and spending every waking moment together. Were apart for 3wks for school break. he comes back and says relationships are too hard, wants to take it slow. Im thinking this hurts too bad and need to stay away from him, to get over it. All the while hes calling me non-stop and coming to my room. Says he still has romantic feelings for me and likes spending time. I feel like I dont want to stop those activities b/c I still have those feelings, but Im thinking he should not be benefiting from my sentiments, if he doesnt feel the same.

I feel like to outsiders I look like a fool. he has all the benefits minus sex that a gf would give him. i think this is why Im having a problem with it now. am I wrong or stupid for this? His daughter now wants one so bad, and my friend needs help in how to discourage her decision in wanting one, in a rational and mature way,(isn't there an age law or something?)yet not pleasing the wicked ex witch who is hoping for him to choke. She does this to him all the time and needs to get a taste of her own medicine, but in a mature way that will please his daughter and tactfully and brilliantly just blow the wicked ex's head off!!! I'm helping my brother preparing to ask his gf to marry him. The thing is that we just don't know where to start in figuring out her ring size. He doesn't want me to ask our family how you go about figuring it out b/c he wants it to be a surprise to everyone. Help please, what are some ways we can find out the ring size w/o having me go to her and just asking for it?

There is this guy I really like. We're both 13 and we go to the same church and school. We met when we were two.

He and I are both rather attractive. ( I don't want to sound like I'm bragging)

However, sometimes this guy seems to like me, and other times he doesn't.This is what he does:

1) I sometimes catch him staring at me. But when I stare back, he quickly looks away and shakes his head.(As if he's dissapointed)
2)He often hides his face from me.
3) He smiles at me occasionally.
4)He wants to know the most random stuff.(ex: My ID #)
5) He looks at his feet and is quiet when he talks to me.
6)When we sit next to each other, he either scoots away or scoots closer to me

So does he like me or not? And if he does, what should I do? (FYI, we both can't date till' we're 16, and we don't want to disobey our parents) I'm a shy person, so I don't know what to do. Especially with Valentines day coming up. (I really DON'T want to do anything to ruin our relationship)

I was with a guy for a few years and we have a son together and lately I've been dreaming about him all the time. We are so happy and so in love. The thing is, is that i've been married now for almost 3 years and I haven't talked to this guy for almost 4 yrs. I just keep dreaming about him and want to talk to him now but have no way of getting ahold of him. His new girlfriend won't allow him to see his son so we don't have any contact with him. The last time he saw his son was under the condition that I didn't find out where they lived cuz I think she's scared that I might stalk him or something...lol. I really want to talk to him though.

Okay, so first of all I'm not going to reveal who's from what religion specifically, to keep things more objective. My boyfriend and I are from two religious and cultural backgrounds. We're both very casual about this fact. However, recently we were talking about future ideas of marriage/weddings etc. Neither of us are religious, I'm not a part of any religion, and he doesn't really give much thought to the religion his family claims to believe in. I think if we have a wedding, it should reflect our own beliefs. However, he wants to follow certain traditions for the sake of his family. I don't want this. I feel especially strongly about this because I feel that certain religions also misrepresent women and indirectly (or directly) imply certain gender roles for them, and this is sometimes ingrained in the actual wedding traditions that are followed too.

Maybe I'll reveal the actual religions and what the traditions are eventually when I've gotten responses without this information.

3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get sex from LOTS of other girls.

Okay so here it is. I am only 14 going on 15. I dont wANT TO LEAVE MY MOM AND DAD but I might not have a choice even though I do. ok so My gpa threatened to kick me out because of the simple fact I yelled back at him.It all started because of he thinks i was lieing about not wiping the counters.I dunno And they hate me and ignore me all the time. they are threatiening to kick me ou. I have a crush on a girl, she is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen in mylife. She is a very natural girl,naturally beautiful,like Audey Hepburn . We used to have class together ,every morning i would come to school very early ,because she was always standing near the wall of school library. 2day at skool my bff told me that her and my friend were going out. This was good because they totally liked each other. But 2nite she called me and told me that he tricked her. And when I say that i mean he asked her to go upstairs to go get something out of his locker. So they go and wait for everyone to leave. When they are finally alone he nudges her with his arm tries to push her into the wall and like starts to kiss her all on her face and what not. She was shcoked at first so she really couldn't do anything at first but push him away. Afterwards when she goes outside to her mom's car to go home,he talks to her mom like nothing happened. I tried to tell her that they should have broken it off and what not. She was really scared and now she feels like dirty or something? I tried to help now i need ya'lls' help. What should she do?

O.K. I know this is probably a bit weird, but here goes. During my last pregnancy I started seeing a femaly OB who happened to be my age and of similar ethnic background. It seems that we could have a lot in common.

Everytime I have interacted with her we have been quite at ease with each other and I think we could be friends if we met under different circumstances.

My question is: would it be strange to suggest an afternoon lunch or coffee to start a friendship?

It's just that we are both living away from our homes and it's is nice to have someone that shares some of your background to talk to.

Is this weird or can it work?????

P.S. I am not gay. I am happily married with children and just want to start a friendship.
