Society has to impact us somehow. It's impossible to avoid it. Not to mention laws. There are taboos out there that a lot of us won't breach. Without society, we wouldn't always know how to behave. Some people say that takes away our freewill, but we still have freewill. I say it's a necessity. Without laws and societal dictations, most of us would run amok. Everyone needs guidance. Look at this place and everyone asking questions from people they don't even know...society. But, I digress. Yes, society has had an impact on me...I won't do kids, animals and freaky trapeze sexual positions.

It didn't.
I was a nineties teen. Everyone thought one night stands were common place and acceptable..I didn't so I have never done it.
I personally dont think society has much of an impact unless the desire is already there...some people are that way inclined but repressed it or hid it, once it was acceptable they simply started talking about it more.
It doesn't mean we are all sheep, what has always been done, is still done by the few, they just shout about it louder now.

sex made me foolish, because i confused it with love. society hasnt impacted my life. i'm what you call a bohemian. free spirits like me arent effected very much. nor are we impacted by others. we do the impacting ;)
