Totally agree! You have to get to know the person and make sure they are the right one for you life over time. I dont think it is exactly love at first sight but lust and attraction... Love comes over time.

Agree absolutely.
Love at first sight cases are luck an attraction that worked out well. Mostly...people feel love at first sight...date...and say ah...well...it was just an attraction.
What exactly is LOVE? I define it as the connection/interaction between two people. How could you have interacted at first sight?
Pursue strong attractions, but don't move in together for at least a year! And then...see if you can live together before getting married.

The first time I saw my husband I thought he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. Honest it was love (or at least a major crush!) at first sight and I assure you at that point it was not lust. It was several months before I started going out with him though and we were married two years after that. We are still very much in love and coming up to our 25th wedding anniversary. So I'm maybe an exception and I still would advise not to rush into anything serious too fast!

I agree...and I know that is not the most romantic answer but it is more practical. I speak from experience because I have a tendency to fall inlove at first sight, jumping in whole-heartedly and then being crushed with disappointment when I discover that the person is unhealthy for me. If you are a glutton for punishment, this advice will not register and you will follow your heart as I do. Peace.

I disagree. I fell for my fiance the first time I saw him. We have now been together for four years and will be getting married this fall. I do believe that it is possible for love at first sight, but you have to get to know the person inside before you can move into anything serious.

I agree. Love at first sight is just that- sight. I beleive to truly be in love with someone it has to be with the whole person, not just what you see on the outside.

Love at first sight is really just a strong attraction. Given time, it can grow into love. But not always.
I fell hard for my husband in just one day. We were married 11 months later - that was in 1973.

Love at first sight is just like catching a radio signal. Once you suddenly find a signal you gotta give some time to fine tune it. The better the tuning, the better the sound of music...
