Yes sadly you are right. I love football and was shocked a few years ago I read about this online. Many guys drink too much. Many others gamble too much money (even the rent/mortage $) and bet on a team that loses. When they lose they take it out on their wife/girlfriend.

II think the NFL + others should advertise to try to make this a voluntary sober & gamble free day. At the very least tv commericals should be aired explaining how women are hurt that day.

I've said some dumb things in my life about the battle of the sexes. If a woman loves a man, the least we can do is listen to her and respect her.

People need to get a real life. If their life is so vapid that they get so excited over some stupid game where guys are bumping each other and chasing after a ball that's not even round, they need to re-evaluate their life and take up something more meaningful.

This is probably a testimonial for anger management classes!

I don't think it is caused by the commercials, though! It's just human nature gone horribly amok.
