ok ladies, is it true that the first step in getting back together with an ex-girlfriend is to just give her her space if she asks for it? I keep hearing that the more space and time you give her, the more she will feel like you don't mind that she broke up with you, and that will lead to her missing you more. So is it true that the best way to start going about it is to just let her have her space and wait for her to come to me?

I have a friend who I don't personally know, and a bunch of my friends also talk to him. We all trust him, but he recently asked them to stop talking to him, and wants to remain talking to me. Should I stop talking to him for my friends? Or should I keep talking to him? I really like him, and I have strong feelings for him, but I'm extremely confused! Please help!!!!!

I need advice. My mother claims I am responsible for my one year old getting sick recently. She thinks I do not dress him properly. I put him in his cold weather coat, gloves and hat and warm pants with an undershirt and shirt over that. I have tried to convice her that it is his exposure to germs at daycare that are making him sick. She thinks otherwise. How do I get her to stop making these hurtful comments?

Last year I had to go and live with my grandma for 3 monthes.. In that time she blamed me for everything and told our whole family that I stole her wedding ring ( which I did not) and then I had to go stay with her last summer and she od on her pain pills and was put away in a hospital for a few days when she came home her meds disaperaed and she blamed it on me... Most of my aunts belive her and I even think my mom does... It makes me cry at night and I am afraid I may need counseling over all of her abuse towards me.. Do u think I should find it somewhere in my heart to forgive her... I told her to f'uck off and I have not talked to her since August 3rd of 2005... It seems like my whole family is against me...

you give your friend money when you have, and she also gives you when she has also she borrows and never pays back, now, there is a case of stolen money, and everybody suspects her, they call her to testify and she denies it and that i give her money everyday, i was not able to defend myself and now they are requesting to see my mother.

i have never known my father. he is married with 3 daughters. they know nothing of me. their mother does not want them to know. my dad did pay child support for me all of my 18 years. i am now 40. he did come to visit me a couple of years ago. he came a few times but then stopped. i think his wife had something to do with it. he did not come to visit me when i was growing up. he is not well. my question is, will i be in the will? if not, am i entitled to anything? should i go to the funeral? i really don't want anything i mainly want to know if he thinks of me. i would really like to have a father/daughter relationship but i do not think that is possible. what if he is in the hospital. can i visit him?

I have liked this guy for a while he is italian and i am black but kind of mixed but, i look more black. I wanted to know if he'd have a possiablity of liking me. I found out to some of my men friends,,dated women on the internet..first meeting, their intro is like this,>"I am getting out or running away from my abusive,mean, ogre, boyfriend,and I am looking for an apartment."This lines was from my 2 guys I dated(,we are comparing notes) and 3 guys from my work. I don;t believe that this is 1 woman, dated 5 guys that I knew,I think it is a routine lines for women out there. My experience is the guys I dated are divorced their wife are not nice since day one,they are 3to 4 kids all grown up now,wife is sick of bipolar desease,or heavy drinker,always drunk ,Now the pending divorce the live together,for the sake of the children or what ever,the wife is drunk and have a boyfriend and she is not good in bed. If I heard this in 1 man I will believe it ,but I heard this from several guys.Is this a routine lines for the guys out there? I did not share this to my men friends,but I am sharing with Q&A.

Did you leave a great partner to be with someone else thinking it was even better only to find out it wasnt?? Do you regret it?? Please donte tell me to live w/o regrets. me and this guy been together for 10 months now and i love him soooo much and i know he loves me in everyway. Its a good relationship filled with trust and respect. hes a really good person but my parents unfortunately say im to young. im 16 and hes turning 18. my parents dont want me with him and they are bringing it to far. my parents dont even know him.they jus call him trash.my father spoke to him but my father told him to stay away from him. me and this guy plan to get married.when im 18 we decided we would leave and get a place to live.my parents dont talk about it no more but alot of my privledges been taken away.but i can only see this guy in school. he understands whats goin on, but what would be the right thing to do. i dont want to leave this guy, i love him to much, but my parents have been bringing this situation way to far. whats your opinion on this?

There's a guy I'm friends with at work. We joke around a lot and we have a lot in common. He seems to really enjoy joking around with me, but he's very shy. The other day, I told him about a dream I had about him (not a sex dream). I could tell it really gave him an ego boost when I told him. He jokingly asked me, "I wonder what that dream means." I said I didn't know. He said with a smile, "Maybe it means you might like me." I sarcastically said, "I don't know. I hope not." Another thing, he is so sweet when it's just the 2 of us, but when there is another guy friend of his around he tries to act cool and he isn't mean but he really isn't as sweet towards me as usual. We're both really shy and I'm not even sure how to act around him. He came up to work yesterday with a friend of his and I awkwardly waved and said hi but that's it. And he didn't make any extra attempt to talk to me. Sorry this is so long. Do you think he likes me? How can I find out w/o getting rejected?
