Ask him who she is, if its just the beginning of a possible relationship dont worry about it to much

I agree with jb, you are just on a date, do guys call you? maybe it was a sister, friend, or cousin. Don't jump to the wrong conclussions so fast, take it slow. Enjoy the date without thinking the worse.

Why should it matter? It would be considerate of the guy not to take the call or take the call and make it very short. However, you're on a date, not exclusive and not married.
