ok ladies, is it true that the first step in getting back together with an ex-girlfriend is to just give her her space if she asks for it? I keep hearing that the more space and time you give her, the more she will feel like you don't mind that she broke up with you, and that will lead to her missing you more. So is it true that the best way to start going about it is to just let her have her space and wait for her to come to me?

Seems like the key is to give her enough time to cool down, forgive you, and maybe miss you a little, but not enough to realize that she can function fine without you.

Getting back with an EX is always hard. The reason you two broke up will be a big factor. Remember you can forgive but you wont forget. You will need to give her space at times but if you are both are wanting to get back together you kinda have to see eachother and spend time otherwise it will not work. If she is saying she needs a lot of time then its because she is not sure if thats what she really wants to do.

Usually when a girl asks for space its pretty much over....most of the times when there is a breakup its because the space already exists it just hasnt been translated into words....However i am a lady and what will always work on me is persistance and a man who will go out of his norm to get a girl back ....its not just as easy as you telling her you want her back...your going to have to show that whatever actions caused the breakup between the two of you have been remedied ... and it might prove hard if she is the one who needs to change.

I'd let her know on occassion that you still care. She cannot read your mind, so if you do not show some sort of communication, she will write this off as it being "over"... Don't over do it, just a text msg or quick phone call to say Hi or that you are thinking about her... Never ask her if she is also thinking about you. This makes you look needy instead of giving her the space you think she needs... Just my opinion!

Ex's are ex's for a reason first off. And if you really want her back, then let her know you miss her. Give her space but also let her know you care. Do not smother her or she'll run in the opposite direction. Women like to know you care but also like to have freedom.

Sometimes giving a person "space" can do more damage then good. You will soon drift apart and it will become even harder to get what you had back. You should try talking it out and come to some kind of agreement. Good Luck

I will tell you something for sure. If an ex says she needs space...she just isnt into you. She is keeping you hanging incase something else dosnt work out. She will not be into it again...she is stringing you along. Move forward....without her. There is someone out there who wont want any "space" from you. I know this for sure...I've lived it many times!

I don't think you should ever get back with an ex. Something made you break u p with her in the first place so why the devil would you take yourself back through that?

i've been through alot (& i mean ALOT) of crap and if you guys are over then your over and don't try 2 get back with her because that will lead 2 more fights then u will probally break up again..so on and so on...
