I want to find a way to ask for money at the reception without being tacky, but I think the dollar dance is silly. I am not having a dancing kind of reception, so it would be dumb to throw that in there anyway. Any suggetions?

Ladies (or men also), has anyone of you ever gone back to college after getting married and having children? I have been married for 6 years and I have 3 children, two of which are still toddlers and don't go to school yet. I am currently a stay-at-home mother, I do not work outside the home. I am interested in going back to college and getting my degree, but I am concerned with how to pay for classes as well as paying for part-time childcare for my 2 youngest children, since we are living on only my husband's income right now. Was just wondering if anyone has done this same thing and what your experiences were? Also, does anyone know of any good financial aid programs for people going back to school in my situation? Also, does anyone know if there is any way I could also get some kind of financial help with childcare while I'm in school? I have searched the web constantly, but there is very little info on married people w/ children trying to go back to school. Can anyone help? Thanks

How do you control jealousy in a relationship? When you are in a long term relationship and you are in love with each other. Even though there is security in the relashionship and you try not to let jealousy get over you, how do you control the feelings when they surface and be able to trust?

In a 7 year relationship, where there is love, but also arguments, like any other relationship, where things are changing career wise and other factors, new people in your life, which are bringing feelings of jealousy into the relationship. How do you control your emotions and thoughts before they destroy your relationship.

Is it awful to not attend my sister in law's shower when I live over 3 hours away and we are not close? She didn't come to my wedding shower even though it was held in the town where she lived so I didn't drive up to go to hers either. I am not offended and am not wanting to skip out on her shower to get her back or trying to get out of giving her a gift. I just simply don't want to take off work, I work on the weekends, and make the drive to go to it. I would rather do that to go up and spend time with my family. She didn't even give me a card for my wedding shower and I sent a card with a check in it for hers. Can't I just give her and my brother in law a baby gift in person next time I go up or is this really distasteful?

Before marriage, women wouln't even give me a second glance. Now, they always walk up to me and talk really nice to me. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the "signals" but I've read up on this and they are definately giving me the "signals".

I just don't get it, where were all these women when I was single and could do something about it?

Well i really like this guy and well he realy likes my best friend.Everyone knows i like him including my best friend but when he asked her out she said yes.Before they started going she hated him and would tell me how much she hated him and how he was so ugly.....But now that there going out shes acts all in love with him...
But i dont know how to act around her whenever im around her it makes me want to cry.......
She was going out with a guy when i really liked him and when he broke up with her she went out with the guy i like so i dont think she liked him at all before they started going out.....I go to a REALLY small school so its kind of hard to just avoid them...
And she always rubs it in my face...
So in your opinion should i be mad at her or not?

Ok I have this friend who is married and has a boy. There are rummors going around saying her and this other guy is sleeping together. married many years, spouse lied, cheated, drugged , alcohol, stayed out all night, partied never wanted to go out with me, etc, did however work hard and provide for family .. somewhat.. left 8 months ago, now he is always there calling, showing up at my house, following me. showing up wherever I go. totally loves me now and wants to be with me. what is up with that? I will not give him the time of day but he still wont leave me alone. I need to move on with my life. wasted to much time waiting on him now its over. What to do?
