Dated this guy for almost a year, then left for a few months. Broke up while I was gone but now I am back and we have been hanging out a lot. When we were together, towards the end we fought a lot as I wasn't appreciating him at all. Since then, I have changed and although we are spending all our time together now, and I can tell he misses me, he says he refuses to get back together as we tried enough but still communicates and meets me everyday. People keep telling me to just continue chilling with him and not bringing up the past and he wil change his mind and the other side of it is to just let it go and never know, but also not be as hurt in the future. He's a wonderful guy, and I know he still loves me and I am willing to change... what to do?

just wanted to hear different peoples takes on what dreams mean.

last night for reasons that I will never be able to explain my dream was me doing my mother-in-law.

She has been with him for 8 months, he has 2 children and she frequently gets upset as she feels she is just there to babysit. People reassure her it will pass, as does he, but she knows he doesnt love her yet although she loves him and doesnt want to lose him. I just want her to be happy and for him to treat her how she deserves, should she wait for him? do you have any advice I can give her?

I'm a homemaker too and I'm writing an aritcle for our local paper. I'm just wondering what you feel your "job" entails. So far I have come up with these things (though this isn't all of it, I'm sure!)
Taking care of the kids (bathing, dressing, diapers, teaching and reading to, playing, doctors, etc)
Being a supportive wife
Meal planning, shopping, and Cooking
Keeping the house clean and neat
Finances (paying the bills, balancing checkbook, etc)

My dad left when Mum was pregnant, I have met him 2 x in 38 years, he said I was too much like my mother in looks!!.
My brother has been in touch with him over the last 15years and saw him regular.
My brother has said I don't have to go to the funeral, but i feel guilty as I don;t feel sad.

Should I go or will i regret it in later years - the funeral is 300 miles from where i live.

I met this friend of mine in college in San Francisco. We have talked and we went out for dinner while we were still in school. After graduation, I stayed back briefly in S.F while she went back to Japan. We have been exchanging emails and i can't really think of a good topic to talk to her about. I know how weird it must sound but I found myself in love with my wife's 91 year old grandmother since the very first time a saw her, last summer in my wife's parents' house. However, I never said or did anything until now because I wasthinking I was going insane or something. Then I looked for a psycologist to help me but it didn't work, I kept on thinking about her day after day. Last week I finally had the courage I needed to open my heart to her and it surprised that she seemed to feel atracted by me too. Then we went to her bedroom and made love like I had never done before in my entire life. However, though I'm feeling pleased, I'm afraid that this "dream" could just turn into a nightmare if my wife or her family found it out. Okay, my favorite cousin has been seperated from her husband for about 3-4 yrs. now and she has the burden of raising their 2 sons all by herself. If she gets $40 p/w from him it's like Christmas for her. They are now considering divorce, so her concern is that if he can't willingly provide for his children without a court order, how will her children view her after the court order is enforced and if he defaults and sent away to prison. If it fair for her to work 2&3 jobs just to keep roof over the kids heads while he dresses up and parties with other women. I really feel bad for her and help where I can, but he has to be made responsible for his seeds.
