Because i wanted to be home and be there for my kids and my husband when he gets home... It is a choice but when the kids get older and grow up i may get part time work maybe.... I like it at home though... Yes you could say this is my choice! But at the same time if we were having a hard time financially I would work if need be to help out!

well, i'm not, but i'm going to answer anyways...

having worked from the age of 15, i would have no problem giving up all the crap i've taken over the years for the crap i'd have to deal with at home. i would so rather clean the house then listen to one more customer complain about something trite. my mom was never a homemaker. she went back to work 2 weeks after having me. she missed me saying my first words and taking my first steps. if i could afford to not work, i totally would.

It was not totally by choice it was I got injured and it is next to find a job if you abstained any type of injury that could interfere with your work capability. So rather then just sit a round and mope I took over taking care of the house the best way I could
