I am almost 19, yet my parents are still very very clingy and attempt to control my life. I know I am not exaggerating as friends, other adults, and even mental health professionals agree that they need to give me space.

I decided not to fly home for a short break we have before the start of the next term, and again they started telling me how inconsiderate I am. How am I supposed to learn to be independent with parents who will not let me do things on my own? For example, I was going to go into town and open a bank account locally and they'd rather come here and do it for me. They also do not trust me to make doctor's appointments.

Anytime I try to get a word in, I am apparently being rude to them. How does one deal with this sort of situation?

him and her have been having theyr issues.he gets out in nine months though.He wrote her a letter stating this ,and also making her an indecent prorposal,he says he wants to have a three some,him ,her and me !there is no way in hell I would do such a thing and neither would she!but she is very upset and she wants me to write him back and tell him how I feel about his disgusting proposition, what should I say to him with out being too rude!!!

I love my wife to death but get very nervous when it comes to making love. I was never like this before and when we meet we had a very good sex life whith each other.Things have happened to us in our past that i believe may have effected our love life. we had a baby and she passed away and after that i felt like our love life went away too. We both want another baby but now we feel like we dont make love anymore and its us trying to make another baby and the intimacy went away. So how do we both get past this and bring that back so we can be comfortable and intimate and not look at it as just sex or us trying to concieve.

This guy at school likes me and its getting weird he took a picture of me from my friend and carrys it in his wallet and I only talk to him once at a kick back at my home girl house for like maybe 10 minutes about school he also is telling avery one that im his girl like this guy that I like. He also found out That it was my birthday last week and got me a victorias secret gift card with a gucci purse and I did not accept them cause I dont know him. He is not ugly he can get alot of women but he cant get off my back I told him I am not interested and he said I was just playing hard to get.

We've been together for 2 years now and throughout the relationship I have had a gut feeling that they have been in contact more than what he has led on. I recently went through his phone records (i'm not proud of doing that, but a girl has to do what a girl has to do, right?) and found out that he was calling her from his cell phone during the day and talking from 5 to 40 mins at a time at least 6 times during a month. On the home phone he calls her at least once a month on his day off and speaks for about 25 mins. From what I can see it started near her birthday and their wedding anniversary date. He claims she calls him and he just returns the call to see what she wants, but why talk for so long? When I talk to him about this he gets upset and defensive. Is there some way I can approach this and him not get mad. He tells me he's tired of hearing about it and I should move on from the subject. Is there any questions I should ask him about this?

I have some major concerns with mine and my best friend's friendship. First of all, I am always the one who invites her places (hanging out, joining a gym, going to my family's house, vacations, etc) and she NEVER invites me to go do things she only receives never gives and I am ALWAYS inviting her
I feel like she is not herself around me by little things such as I know she loves country music but when I am around pretends like she doesn't and will listen to music I like. She has also been notorious for following me in my footsteps in things like where I goto college, what job I have, my pets, my car, my clothes, etc. I am not flattered by it because I beleive people are unique and beautiful in their own way you do not need to copy someone, be yourself!
I live with her and a lot of times she just comes home and hides away in her room all day and never makes an effort to go run errands, clean, grocery shop with me. She doesn't stand up to me either I think she has self-esteem issues!

i am very emotionally dependent on my friend... i have hidden this well from her for about a year but now am finding it hard to hide....i realize how unhealthy this can be for both of us and i dont want to jeopardize our friendship but part of me wants her to know how i feel about her ..should i continue to hide the feelings and work through them in therapy or should i tell her how i feel and tell her i am working through them in therapy... i dont want to freak her or scare her to the point she abandons our friendship but sometimes i find myself getting so angry with her for no reason ...my gut tells me to keep it hidden ..continue the facade and work through my feelings with my therapist ...any ideas or suggestions
