I broke up with this guy. A month later he called me and told me that he wants me back. I asked him to slow down because I need time to understand if I want him back. Now he doesn't call me and seems less enthusiastic afterwards.

Yeah it always works out that way...when your not sure if u want them back they are wanting you. Then when u do want them back they are over it, they gave up on you..its messed up thats y u should just take the chance when they ask you!!! Then if it doesnt work out at least u tried..

He just feels put down. Obviously he doesn't respect the space you need. Forget about him, move on. If he really wanted to be with you, he would respect your feelings and wait to see what you decided to do.

Maybe you hurt his feelings, or it could be that he's playing reverse psychology on you. I'd say give him a call and be yourself.
