You have every right to be picky. It is YOUR life. You are not asking for too much, at all. Maybe you need to change your environment so you can meet more men that meet your criteria. Be as choosy as you wish.

Do not accept guilt that men have failled to meet your modest requirements of behavior and comportment.

Well, you could come to Edmond, Ok. for a start. (chuckles), But since I am much older, that would only create more problems for you. Try enrolling in some college courses, find a good religion, church, or social events.. Or try E-harmony! Just being trite..but the # of women that I have met are all looking to find the same thing, without giving the same in return. Plus why is it all woman never mention the fact that Sex is the foundation that most marriages, and relationships are built on. If that is good for both, then the other will come as a result of being cared for

We are where you aren't. I am trying to find a lady that wants to be treated like that, who likes to be pampered, has a great sense of humor...wonderful eyes..long hair. But the most important thing is she must love life in the outdoors....especially in the summer. So, where ever those men are for you, that's where the women will be found for me. When you find that place, let me know!!!

Good Luck!!!!!

Honey, I think a lot of women in their 40's have become too picky. There isn't anything wrong with it. We feel time slipping away and don't want to settle for Mr Wrong anymore. And you don't have to. I've always met interesting guys near the water... men with boats are usually respectful of us because they've learned to respect Mother nature. Stick to your guns. Don't compromise.

You can find a man anywhere. You don't actually know if he is what you want until you go on a date and get to know him. But you can find men at the gym, bank, bar, internet, etc. If you do the internet thing, use Yahoo Personals. I know a couple of people who met their partner on that website. One of them even got married.

Good Luck.

Try posting a question in Yahoo! Answers. I'm sure some guy will respond using an answer as a disguise.

Sorry, but at 43 you don't have the right to be THAT picky. You sound like a gold-digger that has passed her expiration date. Take what you can get.

Your best bet is to talk to your friends to see if they can recommend somone. I'm sure your friends know you well enough to decide if a potential match is up to your standards. The rest is up to you.
