I said I was visiting some friends in her area, and I wondered if I could visit her. I hardly knew her in college, but we got along well in my freshman year. She once leaned on me while alone in a lab late at night, and I just backed away. For years, we hardly talked or spoke to each other, but now, we talk a lot on AIM. She even gave me her number to help her out with a car accident in my area. Is she eager to catch up because she wants a date? I was being friendly, but did I imply more?

My best guess would be that she wants something and I don't mean a relationship. You don't say how long you've been talking on AIM, but odds are you have had time to "catch up". If she wanted a date, she would have hinted quite a bit.

Dude she obviously wants you she might just be lonely or wants to talk to you about the past but I think that more is going on than that!
