The guy that I like always kisses his girlfriends butt when she gets mad at him.Last night she got mad at him,and at first he avoided her.Then he goes and kisses her butt so she wont be mad anymore.She's always finding some reason to be mad at him, and it makes me so angry because he has feelings for me(I'm pretty sure of it) and I have feelings for him(I think he thinks I like him,but hes not completely sure!),but he keeps holding on to this girl.When she gets mad at him,it makes him mad and depressed and sad all at once.Will he evantually get tired of kissing butt and move on?

cuz no matter what happens it will ultimately be the guys fault according to girls and a girl will never apologize and the only way to fix it is if the guy does and just gives in to that stupid ****.

This guy may actually enjoy that type of attention. Although I don't know him personally, I believe that as a young boy the only attention he received may have been negative (scolding) from his parents. He sounds like an appeaser, someone who would rather ask forgiveness than permission. This also means that the marginal propensity for him to be unfaithful is rather high, since his standard operating procedure is to do and then apologize. You need to decide if you would prefer someone who respects you upfront or someone who tries to make up for mistakes after the fact. Although all people make mistakes, this guy seems like his strength in relationships revolves around rectification rather than prevention. As for the girl, she seems very controlling, as if she prefers that type of attention. I think he stays with her because their relationship reminds him of the only way he's ever known favor...appeasing the wrath of his mother.

That is because for some reason he knows he may be wrong about something or else he is tired of her crap. Sometimes a person fear someone like that cause she may have her cute threat on him for some reason. So being in a depressed or sad move means he is making some type of decision.

Some guys don't have any backbone, and some girls are little princesses. Most guys just want to get through it and move on, but since little Cinderella won't have it, then the guys are forced to kiss her butt.
I personally don't do that, I apologize when I'm wrong and leave it at that.

Because no matter what we manage to make it so it's the guy's fault. Guys cannot win an argument with a woman so rather than put up with her bitching and nagging they cave so they she'll stop bugging the ever living daylights out of him. It's a relationship disaster it sounds like but you need to let him figure that out...

i think some guys do because women have shown they can have long memories when it comes to someone doing them wrong. and they don't hide the fact that it's very personal. so the guy wants to make amends immediately. me personally, with a female i just back off and give it time. i don't think getting into a huge fight right then and there will make it any better. time does tell.

Seems like they have a good relationship. She's the dominant and he's the weaker of the two. Maybe it's their way of starting sex cause the best part of a fight is the making up afterwords.
Either that or he's just whipped and she knows it.

As you said, she finds something to be angry at him for. He doesn't know what he's done so when he kisses butt he's trying to find out what he did wrong so that he can fix it.
