him and her have been having theyr issues.he gets out in nine months though.He wrote her a letter stating this ,and also making her an indecent prorposal,he says he wants to have a three some,him ,her and me !there is no way in hell I would do such a thing and neither would she!but she is very upset and she wants me to write him back and tell him how I feel about his disgusting proposition, what should I say to him with out being too rude!!!

I wouldnt give such a request even the courtesy of a "hell no" letter. He has some nerve. Dont respond, this may be just the rise he was trying to get...litterally.

I wouldn't even go there if I were you. I would respectfully tell your best friend that you are not interested, and feel it is her place to discuss it with her mate. Keep your distance as far as that is concerned. Then forget about it, if they are really your friends they wont press it. In 9 months time, things may change anyway, don't stress it.
Sounds like a strange relationship anyway, why would you get involved in that Drama?
You already know the answer to this, just listen to yourself.....

I would avoid the entire situation. By even writing him he is getting one on one interaction with you that he may very well want in his own sick way. I wouldn't write him, nor even acknowledge his outrageous proposal. Nor should his wife. I can't believe he would even have that lack of respect for her to even suggest such a thing. Did she give him so inclination that she is this kind of person? Why in the world did he come out with something so crazy! I would steer clear from that and I certainly wouldn't write him. If anyone should be writing him, it is the wife, telling him that she is hurt that he would even consider bringing someone into their bed. That he can spend the next 9 months thinking on how he hurt her, and that he needs to learn some morals for one and values of marriage. Goodluck

Wow, this is... bizarre... to say the least.
I know your friend is upset, but if anyone should write the letter, it should be her and not you, because it's her husband after all. And yes, I understand how revolted you both may be... but this requires clearing things up with the husband, and maybe you can help your friend write it, but it has to be from her.
Hm... I would write something about how he should really leave the sexual fantasies out of it, and focus more on realistic goals. For example, your friend now needs to determine if she can continue from where their relationships left off. What sort of person is he? WHY is he in jail? CAN he live a straight sort of life from now on?
If the outlook isn't good, maybe the direction of the relationship needs to change.
But in any case, if he continues acting in a revolting manner, YOU can tell him off, too. Don't bother about not being seen as rude if his behavior disturbs you later on, too.
I wish you the best of everything--I hope everything works out well for you and your friend! If you're ever worried about your safety, too, that's something to think about. I don't mean to scare you, though--just be careful!

Hello..a woman will do anything for the man she loves right or wrong.Sounds he doesn't love her just someone there when he needs.He sitting there locked up with nothing to do but think and fantasize.After reading this,I think she would cause she loves him.Reason she gave you the letter instead asking you,to see your reaction.Do you have a boyfriend?If so or not,explain you do and you felt disrespected about it.Since respect is a something you learn and have to do,inside if you want to live.I could say more,but message if you want to hear or questions,good luck..

be VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it is very rude of him to even bring you into the relationship .. this could be a bad thing on your friendship with her . she will look at you different ( how ?) well she knows that her man would be willing to have sex with you .. that you are sexy to him .. she might not say that it will be on her mind , but think about how you would feel if that was your man saying that about her .. it will always be in the back of her mind .. There is no requirement to respond to indecency with politeness. Feel free to be rude. Despite being imprisoned, this guy still has not learned that actions have consequences, and wrong actions produce uncomfortable consequences. I feel sorry for your friend.

There is no "being rude". The request much have come from his wife, (your best friend). If he is locked up, (jail) then his mind wanders. Tell your friend that you have no intention, or desire, and if she persists in discussion, then she is the problem, not her old man

I'd stay out of it. That's their issue. If her husband wants you, I wouldn't give the friend any reason to suspect that you want him as well. Tell her to talk to her own husband and that you are simply not interested.
