I want to throw an 80's party for my mom...cuz she was like a teenager in the 80's but i want it clean..just fun and hip hop...the style the music the talk i want it to be funny but something that she'll really have fun and clean cuz shes a church goer and i wouldnt mind inviting some ppl from there

And I known a teacher for 4 years and she helped me overcome lots of insecurites and was supportive and always there to comfort me when I needed it, she truely is the most influental person I ever meet. But anyway for Valentine's day I wanted to give her some gifts as a token of my appreciation. And after words I want to give her a hug and tell her "Thank you for everything" but would it be acceptable to lightly kiss her on the cheek after the "Thank you for everything"? My bestfriend has another best friend who she alway talks about. My friend and i have this sisterly relationship and nobody could ever split us apart, but i don't know what to do. Her other friend and i have tried hanging out, but we really just don't get along at all. My friend invited me to go somewhere with her over the phone and i heard her other friend ask if she could come too. She said yes. I couldn't go anyway because my family was here, but i told her we were having a party at my church later if she wanted to come. I went outside to get something for the party and her mom drove up with her sister and her bestfriend, but not my friend. Aparently she went to her other friends house. Now she keeps talking about how much fun they had together and i don't know what to say about it. She knows i don't get along with her friend. It's like she's rubbing it in my face. I don't know. Please tell me what you think i should do. And don't just say talk to her, becasue I've done that. Thanks

A girl that I had just recently befriended had a birthday this weekend. I have heard about her boyfriend (practically fiance) but never actually met him. I really got close to this girl, I care about her a lot, I've known her for 2 1/2 years now, and well I really really like her, but the problem is.... she's 17, and well... Well first let me start out by saying that we live together and are 16 years apart in age. I'm 21... Also, from Sept-Nov, I couldn't work because I almost died in an car accident and was injured pretty badly. I quit my job, it was very rough on me emotionally. By the beginning of Dec. I had a job.
Well, in early Nov. he quit his because of a stressful work situation. He sold some of his belongings to keep his half of the rent up and I used my credit card for one of the months. He told me it was okay with him that I couldn't do much for bills because I couldn't pay much.
He finally has a new job, but he couldn't start because he wouldn't pass his drug test, and he KNEW it would put the date off, so he lied to his work about the situation. He also plays video games almost all day and night now, he rarely comes to bed before 4 AM.
This month I'm going to have to cover all of the rent by myself. And my car broke down, so I'm going to have to pay for the costs of getting that fixed.

never supported me in anything I wanted to do for a living, when I wanted to go back to school he had a huge fit and became enraged, so I let it go.
He hates the idea of me making my own money, and wont help out with daycare (he makes over 100,000 yearly) and tells me to "**** off" basically.
I have helped him totally renovate his home, it used to have dog **** in it, bugs, his mom was a pig and lived in the suite downstairs, I am the only won who got her to move out, after she left I was the only person to help him clean the horribly filthy suite and make it into a nice area.
He has promised me a car and when we came up with a bunch of money recently. he said I was a selfish ***** and a mooch, and only after all the money got spent he said he was stupid about how it got spent.
We have a kid together as well, he threatens to take him away form me because I am a stay home mom and have no money.
I am at my wits end with this man, I dont think he going to change either. Im 26, he32.

Wife has been in rehab twice in past 3 years and has attempted suicide 2 other times. She was awarded temporary custody. I am seeking full custody due to wife's addiction. She leaves baby with her mother who has also had drug problems. Wife's mother also abused her severely her as a child. Consequently,she was in a number of foster homes. Wife is defending mother, stating that abuse occurred 25 years ago. Yet wife never allowed her 2 other children by a previous marriage, now 14 and 16, to stay with her mother. My attorney tells me that nothing can be done until our court date in March. I am desperate. Please help with any suggestions. Thank you.

About a week ago I found myself making a decision based on what other's had to say. and offered suggestion what not to look for when finding a gf. Like when people mention me or tease him, he'll say" yeah, she's psycho" or describe our phone convo to others. Like, I have to go. oh do u have work to do? yes i do. will u call me later?why wouldnt u call me later? "
A mutual friend Tom told me this. And i couldnt even believe it. when we were together he was always so nice and polite. i cant even believe someone like him would say that. Now i seriously hate him for saying that. tom said he might just need to vent. And he's unhappy with a lot of other things too, like he's on academic probation. But still, it hurt so much. And i cant believe even thought about somewhere down the road like 2 or 3 or 6 months later we'd be together since this is our 1st relationship, for each of us. I wonder if he'll ever come crawling back like when probation is overso that i can get my revenge.
PS:he's very shy and spoiled as an only child, indecisive, not having even one female friend
