yes, they do exists but technology has made it a lot better. instead of waiting for the letter you can just write an email. their are numerous site which allows you to have pen friends.
your intentions must be good. most people wants friends from other countries because they want to learn the local language or culture.

Why not. rather than chatting online 24/7 on MSN, letter writing sounds SOOO much interesting. It's exciting ya c, waiting for the other side to reply. I'm glad there's still someone out there who is interested in letter-writing, even after all the technology that is available.

I'm pretty sure it does.Though e-mails are a blessing to mankind,fast & easy breezy but it sure doesn't beat that amazing feeling of receiving a mail or a vibrant coloured envelope with real stamps from abroad!! I was always looking forward with glee,to mails from my pen-pals during my teens.

If your talking about snail mail, then I do pen pal with snail mail. But I do not write to men or cons, and only with in the USA.
