I see you are a male and that is even more concerning - why don't you just 'accidentally' stamp on their toes or elbow them in the groin? As a female commuter, I have often felt the interest of nearby males on tubes and trains wehre we are all packed in together - sometimes it may be unavoidable but I really do hate it!

I think it's a territorial thing. Like when greedy little kids hug their toys and won't let them go, or when dogs pee on trees. Very primitive.
