And I known a teacher for 4 years and she helped me overcome lots of insecurites and was supportive and always there to comfort me when I needed it, she truely is the most influental person I ever meet. But anyway for Valentine's day I wanted to give her some gifts as a token of my appreciation. And after words I want to give her a hug and tell her "Thank you for everything" but would it be acceptable to lightly kiss her on the cheek after the "Thank you for everything"? Please reply if you have a chance Thank you.

She's 26 and I'm 18 not much of a age difference and while I admit she is attractive I think our freindship is more of a Mentor/Protege and platonic level/bond than anything else.

A small gift is appropriate but not on Valentine's Day. This might lead to a misunderstanding and you would not want to cause any difficulty for a person that you respect so much. Perhaps if you and your parent(s) arranged to have a meeting at school, you could all give her the gift together. A kiss on the cheek would perhaps be more acceptable in this situation.
It is really kind of you to want to thank your teacher but do understand that a " Thank You " is more than enough. Part of being a teacher is trying to help students achieve self-confidence and to explore their talents and achieve their goals. Seeing you do this is more than enough reward.

In view of everything that has gone on recently, and assuming
you are in your teens or thereabouts, I'd avoid the kiss on
the cheek. A gift, a note and/or words are worth more and
far safer than a kiss. You may mean well, but it could blow
up in your face..and hers.

dude you're in highschool and she is an older woman. i would think you're not of legal age. do NOT kiss your teacher unless you want to end up in teacher "rapes" student case. it will happen eventually it won't end in a little simple kiss. do NOT kiss your teacher UNLESS she is SMOKIN HOTT.
