ok well this guy i like we've been thru lots 2gether. he used 2 like me like this summer and i was stupid enough not 2 go out w/ him. soo.. after homecoming which we were supposed 2 go to 2gether and we didnt he got a gf and i was upset but i eventually got over it. then later he told me he was having mixed feelings bout him and his gf. i was like ok well if anything happnes between u 2 im still here. so i found out that he broke up w/ her and i was like yesss. so then liek the next day i found out that he was going 2 ask out this other girl a year older than him i was like what?!? so yea the next day after i found out he broke up w/ his gf they were going out. i was really upset that he didnt even tell me they broke up. idk if he lieks me anymore but he brought up 2 my friend the same day he started goin out w/ the new grl that he reealy liked me this summer. is he trying 2 make me jealous or does he not like me anymore and should i forget about him??? needs 2 b answered thanx!!!

basically im getting engaged to a turkish man. he is everything i have ever wanted in a man and i know he will make me so happy. ive told my mother about him and all she says is..'he only wants u for a visa'. i know this is not the case at all. he has no interest in comming to the uk WHATSOEVER. she has read bad things about turkish men in magazines and newspapers and is tarring them all with the same brush.
im divorced and 23 years old. my ex husband, who is welsh like me, used to beat me yet she doent tarr all british men with the same brush.
i know its my life and i will marry who ever i want to but it hurts me so badly that mymother wont even give him the bennifit of the doubt. how can i tell her we are getting engaged?
im so lost... and hurt. i love him so much and he loves me.. this is fact! i know shes just concerned but she doesnt need to be. she is slightly racist and doesnt want 'black grandkids'. but hes not black.. hes turkish please help me

met this guy at christmas we got on went away for 2 weeks and he was so sweet wanted to introduce me to his parents everything then....he has only had 2 serious relationships one for five yrs another six months. initially he was texting me all the time really really in to me we even looked at houses spent new years in a hotel together ..then all of a sudden he went cold said he had been thinking about things for a few days and he dint know if he wanted a realtionship..he still talks to me occassionally phones me...tellls me he thinks im lovely i know he still cares...but wants to go out with his mates and doesnt want a serious realtionship right now maybe later...does this mean he just doent want me why do things turn intially i was not even in to him how do i get him back to the way he was whats the best strategy he wont even see me know because he says us having contact make it hard for him whats the best way to be to regain that interest???

ok, my dad totally hates BOTH of my bffs. My parents are divorced, so wheneva i went to my moms i would do everything together with them. my mom totally loves both of them. She thinks they're gr8. But i would go back to my dad's and my sis would tell on me. He would get rele mad at me, call my mom, and yell at her for letting me b friends with them. My mom would say he cant control what i do over at her house. Ive neva done anything bad w/ them. We've bin tubing, white water rafting, to six flags, each other's slumber parties, horseback riding, minigolfing, the movies. so i have three ?s
1. Should i quit being friends with them?
2.is any of the stuff we do together bad?

I really don't know if I'm wrong or my parents are in this situation. I think because I'm an only child and I had a lot of surgery maybe when I was a little kid so they had to take care of me a lot my parents have wanted to do everything for me. I mean everything, until sixth grade they would basically grab my homework, without me asking or suggesting anything and do it for me for the most part. They have always wanted to do every little thing. But the thing is I didn't become spoiled or anything, when I thought I might be starting to and I hated myself and I wanted to do more things on my own so I would feel better about myself. I have wanted a job for five years and they have been so negative about it. SO now I'm 18 and I almost feel like its condescending and they want to do everything still. Like today I have a school project to work on and my mom all day was really pushy, she wanted to be involved in every little step, and every time. (we had this conversation at least 5 times) I would tell her I really appreciate it but I don't want her to have to take all her time and don't worry about me. And she just started yelling at me like "you know what, i'm not trying to be an a**hole I'm just trying to help. screw it i'm going to bed" i thought she overreacted. I really appreciate and understand but its starting to affect my selfesteem, it always has but now that i'm older its more. Am i wrong or are they wrong?

I have friend who is going through some family issues. The father of her children and she were never married unfortunately and she has full custody and the father only has visitation rights. But now, she wants to move to another city but the father will not let them because he said that she needs his permission to move. Is this true? She said that he will still have his visitations. What's the problem?

My wife and I were arguing , almost getting a divorce, for 1 year, and she did not come to three of my cousins bridal showers and their respective weddings. We are now on good terms (including my parents and my wife) and getting along. Her sister's shower and her wedding are coming up and my parents do not want to come to these events since my wife did not attend any of the aforementioned events. Is this right? Ok..I will try to make this make since as much as I can..me and my boyfriend have been together for about 2 years now and have never been more inlove with anybody. I know I am only 17 and most people don't think a 17 would know what love is..but believe me I do. We have had a pretty amazingly, crazy, wild, hard, but great relationship. He came from a pretty crazy background, (abusive dad, parents who have used drugs his whole life, etc.) And I came froma totally diffrent background. Well latley..things have been really crazy..were are growing up and maturing and not maturing..but alot of the things he went through growing up have been shining more than ever..he has such a good heart, and I don't have any doubt that he loves me with his whole heart. But I am afraid he is turning into his dad..mostly because of stress and thats all he knows..but it is hurting us..and I don't know what to do..I try to be sympathetic..but I get hurt alot..((emotionally)) I need help.
