met this guy at christmas we got on went away for 2 weeks and he was so sweet wanted to introduce me to his parents everything then....he has only had 2 serious relationships one for five yrs another six months. initially he was texting me all the time really really in to me we even looked at houses spent new years in a hotel together ..then all of a sudden he went cold said he had been thinking about things for a few days and he dint know if he wanted a realtionship..he still talks to me occassionally phones me...tellls me he thinks im lovely i know he still cares...but wants to go out with his mates and doesnt want a serious realtionship right now maybe later...does this mean he just doent want me why do things turn intially i was not even in to him how do i get him back to the way he was whats the best strategy he wont even see me know because he says us having contact make it hard for him whats the best way to be to regain that interest???

The first step is for him to explain his change of direction. Maybe one of his mates can explain it if you know any of them well enough. He obviously likes you so what changed? Another girl? He sensed you had were not into him? His mates told him he was moving too fast. Knowing that answer will tell you how to move forward.
I once dated a girl who decided we should be "Just Friends". That lasted until she found out I went out on a date with someone else. She realized that we had a good thing and it was a mistake to let me go. Maybe you should show him that others have interest in you?

Leave him be. He will probably soon try and contact you. Get on with your life and see where it leads. If he makes contact then you can decide if he is too late or not! You regain control of the situation this way. YOU do your OWN thing. If he comes after you then YOU decide if he deserves a chance with you. Guys need their space so let him have it an don't even look bothered by it!

Sounds to me like he went all out to get you, and now he's having second thoughts about giving up his freedom again, or getting hurt. Back off, don't make yourself available. Make yourself "mysterious". Act like you've got a busy life without him with friends, family, or just plain doing things. Don't try to make him jealous by hanging out with other men exclusively, unless you don't want him. Don't answer your cell phone when he calls, or your home phone. Say you were in the middle of something and didn't try to break your neck to get to the phone. See if this doesn't bring him closer. If it doesn't, he probably has lost interest, or was superficial in the first place.

He could just be a guy who is in love with the idea of love.It could be that he was just on the rebound and looking for company and a shoulder to cry on,he may have just decided that he was scared to make any commitments in case he was hurt again!If you really want this guy then you may have to just wait untl he is ready,in the perfect world it would be really soon as it sounds as if you got on really well.Unfortunatly it may never happen.You should be asking yourself do you want to put your life on hold in case he decides he wants you.Good luck anyway.

Tell you everything sweet and tell you he wants to introduce you to his family and friends, but he doesn't really do it.
If this is the case, just run away from him, not worth it.
