Whatever it was that you broke probably was yours or was something that was given to you by somebody that cares for you or about you and it might have cost a few dollars and it might have some sentimental value which is irreplaceable. You don't feel like this at the moment but after you cool off you feel like a buthole or in proper English asshole.

I guess its a way of expressing your feelings - and its OK, but you might want to explore other ways. Singing loudly while driving is good, hittingthe ned with a baseball bat (while no one is in the bed) Dancing, having good sex, writing an angry letter....try those too!!!

sometimes we just need a way to get our anger out and breaking something does that...but yes it is a waste of money.

when my boyfriend went away i got mad at him for one reason or another and i was cuddling his jumper...because i was mad i threw it off me but seconds later i was scrambling around for it.

thats why i dont break my own sh*t. ill break something of whoever pissed me off in the first place. (if its deserved of course)

tho, it does feel good to put a dent (or hole) in your wall or door. and a little spackle and paint will fix that. (or a scarface poster)
