I'm a 24 year old and my dad's drunk on the night after work. He's been asking questions about me & my boyfriend,"when your boyfriend's going visit me & your mom here, come ask him to come & drink with me?" I was telling him that my bf have 2 jobs & is going to school for the english, (he's Mexican & learning english). My dad doesn't even know him & met him yet. They've talked on the phone when I was in the hospital on Jan. 17th. told my dad that my bf was trying to reach me to my cell & i didn't answer, told my dad that he wanted to visit me in the hospital but dont know where! my bf wanted to know I'm ok, he told supervisors where is the hospital, but dont know.he's been there for me,even not in person,but calling me i'm ok! My dad said 'tell him bulls**t!' & maybe he don't love u! I told him he does,but I kept telling my dad to give my bf time & patience! he needs to know my bf have 2 jobs & need his education.he told me get another boyfriend.my dad wasnt like this not drunk.

My boyfriend and I are in college. We've been together for almost a year and talk about marriage all the time.

He talked to the military recruiter today (he told me he would yesterday).. and he said that he now may go into it. He'll be able to get any kind of job and they'll pay for school. He would be gone for the whole summer.. and next summer. It's like he poured all this to me at once. We would've had a heartfelt talk... but my brother and his friend were there. So I couldn't say anything. He said he's gonna talk to his dad. He used to be in the military. Basically, my boyfriend is thinking about joining just to pay for college.

My heart is breaking. I'm about to cry. I don't think it really hit me yet... I won't be seeing him on weekends and summers anymore. I don't know. And the whole thing about a chance of him dying? My God... I couldn't handle that.

Someone please help me feel better. What is it like in the military? And what is it like for their significant others?

Okay well me and my xgf broke up a while ago but we went like 20 days without talking n we couldn't stop we started talking again we got into a fight then she said she still thinks about me and all this stuff but we broke up and she went back to one of her xbfs that she dated b4.. Well I got a co-worker that I'm attracted to and think he feels the same way. But I'll never persue it because I don't date someone I work with. Too Much drama.

Anyway, at my company's holiday party, I introduced him to my date. He kind of frowned at him and hesistated to speak to him and shake his hand. So my date is looking somewhat crazy - which he is - thats a story within itself, and I'm standing think whoa what was that about.?Me with my somewhat insecure azz was thinking why did my co-worker look at him like that - what? He must think that I can't get nobody? So as weeks a finally a month went by that night and incident has been plaguing my mind.

So now I'm think that I was over analyzing the situation and my co-worker didnt react to my date like?

Am I over-reacting, dellusional, over analyzing what I saw??

Well guys, I mentioned couple of months ago that I was dating this girl who broke up with her boyfriend a month prior to our dating. We dated for 2months. She told me that she was done with her ex, that was why I continued in my pursuit and thought she and I had something together. She later told me that she is going to try working it out again with her ex to see if things might work. I am completely distraught. I feel used. I dont know where to go from here. Guys what should I do? I hate this feeling. I wish it can go away, but it still stays.

I don't want to say "sincerely" or "from" or "yours" because I want to be more personal than that. However, I don't want to say "love" because I think that "love" should be reserved for a girlfriend, and not be used for a girl friend. Should I say "with love from"?

How can i help my partners fears and phobia to stop its driving me insane?
I want to relocate but partner is mentally ill and has many fears and phobias. I have a bit of cash. I would help by paying for almost everything. I would even pay for my partner not work for 45 days so they can get on their feet.
We've been together for 9yrs now and his phobias and fears are joke!! I feel like a prisoner in my own home.Trapped!!! I want to move away from this termite infested Apt!!!
Any suggestions much appreciated, i can't mentally take much more!

I feel like I can't deal with this dumb **** my family throws at me. I am put down constatly. They call me stupid, a *****, useless, worthless, a mistake, and retarded. I have tried to tell them not to start stupid ****. They don't care. My mom is also so fake. She is ONLY nice when it's just me and her. If my sister or dad is around she's a complete *****. I lost my trust in her...I lost my trust in my whole family. I don't know how to deal with this anymore. I feel liking doing something very very very stupid. I don't have a therapist and have no way of getting one. I don't trust many people. The only person I trust some what is my boyfriend. I am so confused...I want this damn life to end
