I know exactly what you mean. My mother always used to tell me, "You were born in the wrong time." I would have been good in the 50's.
I just don't think its cool to have sex with strangers for recreation and drink myself half to death in clubs, these types of behaviors...

I don't know if I would have been better in the 50s or 60s, but I have a heavy dose of hippy in me and would have loved the 60s. Just by the music scene alone.

The 50s were much different than the late 60s. I think for me more so on the earlier end of that range.
