If he doesn't show romantic emotion then why are you so worried about what to get him for Valentines? If you get him something and then he doesn't reciprocate, you know it's going to make you feel bad. I had a boyfriend like that once and I decided that if he wasn't going to be romantic with me, then I was going to be romantic, so I asked him if he would go with me to a play that I wanted to see for Valentine's. Sure enough, he offered to pay. But don't count on that. You can always say, "I'll pay for you, if you pay for me" and give him a big smile. It works if you do it at the right time. Or "hey would you like to go to ....for Valentine's?" If he says no, then you've got your answer. If he doesn't buy you flowers, then buy some for yourself. YOU DESERVE THEM. Don't count on others to create your happiness and definately don't create theirs above your own in hopes of them returning the favor. Love to you.

Valentine's Day doesn't mean as much to men as it does to women truthfully. You could give him a good homecooked dinner and a "quiet" night together would do it.

OK, although I'm a guy, this one's from my wife (Really!):
Be naked and bring food.

I would suggest to put on a bow as well.

You don't have to spend big bucks to have a nice V-day. Don't make it a comercial holiday, make it personal!!!
