Okay, when I was growing up, girls always used to tell me that I should learn how to play guitar because it's "sexy." As a result, I taught myself how to play and I've been playing for about two years now. I love guitar but I guess the big question in my head was never answered: "Do girls really think guitar skills are attractive?" I know every single girl in the world has her own individual preference as far as priorities when it comes to choosing a guy, but I'm just curious. How many girls think playing guitar is an attractive feature?

I seemed to notice this over a long period of time. My dad tells me to do more chores than he does to him. If a problem occurs, he would often blame me for it. He puts the food closer to my brother at dinner time, and always asks him if he wants this, or that. He would always when he got back home from work go into my brother's room and ask how was his day and stuff, but rarely to me. If we did something wrong, he would forgive him but not me...I really am starting to see he prefers him over me.

Well, my half brother is 18 years old, not doing too well in school, and got accepted to a below-average college. He's also short tempered.
I'm 14 and I'm doing well in school. (straight A) I know how to control my temper, and i'm also getting taller than my brother.

It might be possible that my dad is trying to help him by treating him better, but I don't know. What do you people think?

The other night my husband went out with my best friends husband who until now I have considered to be my friend as well. Around 9 o'clock my husband called to say hi when (we'll call him) Nick asked if he could talk to me. Heading to the mens room my husband gave him the phone and Nick he asked me when "we" could get together for a drink... I said confused - what do you mean "we"? he proceeded to tell me that he has had feelings for me for a very long time and wanted to take things further. In Shock and not knowing what to say, I quickly made up a reason to get off the phone. I do not in anyway, shape or form share the same feeling and am sickened by his confession. I have been so upset that I haven't been able to sleep. I finally told my husband today and he handled the news with calm maturity and grace but was obviously very upset. What should we do about Nicks horrible actions and should we tell my best friend? My fear is losing a friendship with a girl that I love so dear

I have tried talking to her but she doesnt care,the kids cry everyday when she leaves but again it doesnt seem to faze her, so we are stuck home alone everynight with no veichle, and I am left to cook dinner, as well as do all the clean up and laudry. So...

I was raped 3 months ago. By my neighbor. I was friends with he and his girlfriend. Needless to say, I avoid him now, which inadvertantly means I avoid her as well. She has called/stopped by a few times to see what's up, and I've side-stepped her. I do not believe that she knows what happened.

I have discussed this with a few close friends and my therapist, but not the authorities. I'm just not willing to go there- which is stunning to both my friends and I because I'm not... Ok guys the last time I asked this I got reported for a violation - somebody probably thought I was venting frustration or something. So let me start by saying I'm not just ranting or anything, I legitimately want to know this question.

My question is: Why do girls/women always complain about how they can never seem to find a "nice guy" and that there's nobody but jerks around, yet they completely ignore every nice guy that ever asks them out?

I’m writing to you because what I have to say is easier to type rather than discuss over the phone. I think we need time apart. Lately, I’ve been thinking about many things that have been going on with my life. When I got around to thinking about you, I thought about how things have changed so much from August to this very day. It has been very pleasant getting to know you. Furthermore, it has been very refreshing to share many moments with you, and I loved our conversations.
However, despite all of these things, I’m between a rock and a hard place. Believe me when I say that I know the importance of friendship. We will always be friends. Right now, I’m still smitten over you and it gets harder and harder to forget about a future with you ever again. I regret treating you that way that I have. Honestly, my feelings have not changed, not at all. We both are very busy people, but it’s hard to not think about you, hard not to wonder what is going on with you. I don’t know if you had someone else in mind to be with, nor do I think I can handle it. And this is why I’m thinking that we should not talk for a little while.
I don’t want to hold on to something that was perhaps never there, or be the one that is upset because you decided to move on to someone who truly makes you happy. I know that in a lot of ways, it probably is not possible for us to have a relationship at all. I’m probably the last person that you even think of most of the time.
Being with you and all of the good times that we had is preparing me well for the future of more things to come. It hurts me to even write this, but I have to deal with the fact that you are not returning, so this is what I have to do.

Ive been thinking about asking a girl to prom with who i have liked for a few years but I only see her once a week at church where we talk some but i really dont know what she thinks about me. Ive known her for several years and she is a really nice girl, but if she said no for some reason it would make things really strange everytime I saw her. I wouldnt be that big of a deal to go with just my friends but they all have dates and i would get really bored at prom by myself. Been dating 9 months, been great. He gave 3 reasons for breaking up: (1) Love. he loves me, therefore he wants to break up with me. Basically, he feels unworthy of me so bad about continuing to date me, and would break up as an act of love. (2) Time. He wants us to spend time doing other things, and grow while apart. (3) Timing. He wants us to break up while "our relations are still beautiful"/before we start disliking each other (Something I doubt will ever need to happen). I know he is being sincere, he insists that those are his reasons. From the beginning he has shown signs of being insecure about himself. He started dating me by saying "I Don't feel proportionate/worthy of you, but I want to date you." I already told him his reasons don't make any sense. He wrote back "The reasons for thinking lets break up are what I said just before. I am honestly so absolutely grateful to you. I think it is better if we break up." Ok so there is this guy I have been checking out who I think he is cute. He seems older than me but I realized that he is shy and gets nervous when I am around and I feel the same way. I am shy so it's hard for me to break the ice with someone I like.

Ceremony is at 2:00 p.m. in a Catholic church. Reception is 4-midnight at a country club. My boyfriend is the best man in the wedding. I believe the colors are brown (chocolate), and cream/white. I'm thinking a knee-length cocktail dress; not too flashy with some kind of wrap for the ceremony. Would black be alright or would that ne a no because the whole event starts in the afternoon? Before I knew the colors, I was thinking brown, but now I don't want to look like I'm trying to be a part of the wedding party.

I am 8 months pregnant and I know my 24 yr old husband is having an emotional affair with a 17yr old girl at work.via text message and phone. I think of my self as a attractive guy, I get plenty of winks and smiles from the girls. But as soon as they know that I am hard of hearing, they dont want to talk to me anymore. Why is that? I am very nice and everything, but lack a good set of ears, why does that make such a difference?

My 7 year old is perfectly potty trained, but lately has started doing the nastiest thing EVER. Whenever I discipline him (no dessert for lying to me, for example), he says "FINE! Whatever!" and then, later, I'll find tied up Safeway bags all over the living room with something in them. I pick them up, and I kid you not, he TOOK A SHlT and PlSSED in those bags and tied them up, & tossed them in the living room for me to find. He's been doing this for a while! I consulted a psychologist AND his doctor about this, and they just said he was testing me. He still has his normal bathroom habits. He only does this when I discipline him. What would you do if your seven year old was DELIBERATELY doing this? When I asked him why he does this, he says "Because you're an asshoIe when you take away my video games or my dessert." ( <-- Lovely language courtesy of his K-8th grade school.)
