Ive been thinking about asking a girl to prom with who i have liked for a few years but I only see her once a week at church where we talk some but i really dont know what she thinks about me. Ive known her for several years and she is a really nice girl, but if she said no for some reason it would make things really strange everytime I saw her. I wouldnt be that big of a deal to go with just my friends but they all have dates and i would get really bored at prom by myself. Should I ask the girl or just try to find someone else who goes to my school?

ask her! u see her once a week! it'll be back to normal if she says no in no time. but 5 years from now u will wonder what if u did ask her.

I think you should ask her to the prom. It's obvious that you like her enough to think of her often and it would be a shame to not at least ask.
If you're worried about rejection or coming on too strong; I would suggest bringing up the idea that the two of you should attend the prom together to make it fun and easy...seeing as though you are both friends.
When I was in highschool I was really shy and never asked any girls out; now I know better. There really isn't much to lose.

I think you should jump at the chance...I always got excited to go to dances at other schools, even if things just were friendly. Good luck if you do.
