I was and so was my husband, two of my sisters also were and one of them married a virgin, we all were married in our early 20's. I loved it because we could learn together and not wonder if the person before us was better. To those who say you should have experience, I cannot think of any reason why that would be good, but I would say to make sure you know everything there is about what you want in a marriage, We have been married for almost 10 years and i have never wanted anyone but him, I also have tree kids and he makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world

Yes I did and happy to say so. Certainly my beliefs played into it, but I'm old fashioned anyway, so I'd like to think I would've desired to abstain until marriage anyway.
For some of those that did not and say they are happy they had sex before marriage, it's kind of like explaining to people that don't have kids what it's like to have them. They can't understand the gift they are lacking, even though in the short term it may look like they took the more "fun" and "liberating" path.

ahhhhh no. And...the people that I know that did are now divorced. I don't want to advertise this to teenagers but I think a little experience before marriage can lead to fewer problems of wondering once married. Sorry devot Chrisitans I know you disagree but it is true.

I will be married in June, but I have only ever had s ex with my fiance (when we were dating). I think THIS is the way to go...he is still my first (and last) but we know we are compatible in EVERY way. ......And we didn't start sleeping together until we knew we were going to be together forever.

I did not hurt my husband and neither did he. But one thing bothered me is that I found him went to strip clubs before marriage. To me a boy who has been in a strip club is not a virgin anymore. I felt hurt sometimes.

Probably depends on where you live. In California, not very common. Unless the guy you're dating is a momma's boy or a geek.
