We often here people talk about the differences between the two. It even sounds like people prefer one over the other. I do believe they are complimenting and are both essential to a good quality relationship in life.

Sex usually addresses those physical desires we have. They are real and they have a important place in our lives.

Love making is an expression of intimacy and passion as a means to connecting and communicating with your partner. The act itself is secondary to the meaning and expression it has. That's why we feel that love making, unlike sex, can be in many different ways and at different times.

A nice cuddle, a warm hug, a delicate kiss, being romantic and passionate, sometimes being playful and naughty, sharing laughs together ~ are an integral part of love making.

Would you agree that they should co-exist in a perfectly balanced way??

I am seeing this guy I've been hooking up with (just making out) on Friday, at his house, no one will be home, and he vaguely suggested sex. I told him I don't want to go that far yet, especially on a guy I'm just hooking up with. I predict that I will go farther than I have before with a guy (I've only kissed guys), but still I'm kind of nervous. Is it normal to be nervous, or is this feeling trying to tell me something?

There is a girl I dated. We are now friends, but she acts so odd. She has no self-respect. I am so worried about her worried sick actually. I don't even know how to confront her how I feel. All her other "friends" encourage her behavior. She was stripping at a party with all her friends the way they liked it asked her to take her shirt off. I cried man and she slapped me and said I was making her look like a whore and making her feel bad. She has a sex drive like no other too. I care about her so ******* much it hurts a lot. This isnt really a question. A girl i work with asked me "Why dont you have a boyfriend, I feel bad for you because you dont have anyone" I responded, "I feel bad for you because you seem like the type of person who needs to have someone to be secure." I'm not the type of person who always needs to have a boyfriend to be happy. I am happy alone and with myself and when i find a guy who meets my standards, I'll be happy with him. I'm tired of hearing the annoying question, "why dont you have a boyfriend" Becuase I havent found the guy I want yet.

I give my girlfriend two gifts from the heart. The first: a pink bejeweled heart that I thought over long and hard before purchasing. The second: the silver necklace from my own neck (one that had special meaning to me) as a token of my feelings for her. While looking in a drawer I seldom use, I found these items. I knew that these items had been taken, at on time, to her house and subsequently returned and seemingly hidden. When, only curious, I asked my girlfriend/fiancée to explain why see brought these items back to my house and hidden, she replied that she couldn't explain right away and that she wanted me to wait 6 days for her explanation. During those 6 days I was asked to wait I had to attend a funeral for my grandmother. Being around my family, with their spouses and significant others to support them, I had never felt more alone because I had to wait 6 days to see the woman I am with or to receive an explanation.

hi im 14 year old boy and i got a few issues which i want to solve i hate school i almost never go and my mum is geting in trouble and its because of me and that isnt fare i dont live with my dad and i have 2 older and 2 older sister but they have they own lives exept my 16 year old brother which his ok and trys to help me but lives with my dad. i dont like goign to skool i dont go i have a big temper problem i smash things up drink sometimes and im messin my own live up which i am NOT bothed about but i want to do good for my mum and work hard like i used to. i dont listen to any one never and i stay up like 4am messin about and i dont liek it ut i cant help it. i am even soposed to be haveing a fight in 2 hrs with some dude and i will get in more trouble, any help please thanks

My boyfriend and I have been togetehr 7 months. He moved in with me also. We moved to fast. I wan tto back up in our serious relationship and just date. I mentioned him moving out and us still being together...But hes like "if I move out, Im sure we would break up"...Im frustrated with how he blows his money and then comes begs me for money. I wish he would be more responsible - and maybe if he knew he had his own rent and such maybe he would grow up...We do split our bills now though.

that whilst I personally think people kissing and being affectionate (NOT IN A PEVERSE WAY) with their animals is soooooo cute that some people - particularly men from the answers I got disagree.

I met this lady on the net (christian dating site) about 3 weeks ago. We chatted on the internet for about 3 hours two days straight, and then I got her number, been calling here since. Note that we are in our 20's. About 5 days later, I asked her if she would like to meet and do something together, she said that sounded good. Granted, she said I didn't make her uncomfortable at all, and it sounded like a pretty good thing is building up. She has a busy schedule, a little chaotic. So last Saturday, I left her a message and at the end of it I said to give me a shout any time, because she had that day off. It is now Wednesday, and I haven't heard a thing, not one call or message. I just want to know ladies, what do you think is going on here? It sounded like she was interested, and then all the sudden, silence.
