me and my boyfriend will have been together 19 months on the 28th :) so i kinda need some ideas too!
in the past we've done stuff like been to the zoo, made each other cards, wrote love notes, bought each other little presents (the best presents are those that mean something, they don't have to be expensive)

well why dont dont you plan a day out?
you can book a room in a hotel or something and spend the day somewhere romantic you've never been befor or go partying somewhere new (depends on his personality really) and try to make him go somwhere so you'd get to the hotel room befor him at night and try to redocorate it and fill it with flowers and candles and such.
my sis did that to her husband on his birthday and he went CRAZY! lol

You know, men are pretty easy to take care of this way: Food and sex. A delicious, truly home-cooked meal, nicely served, followed by--if your relationship is at this stage--a little nookie. Or the reverse order may work better. And if he's into sports, he may truly appreciate you sitting down next to him while the game is on and cheering his team as if you meant it.
