Or do you not mind being told what to do untill that person keeps telling you over and over that you need to do it even though you have more important things on your To Do List? If you understood that please answer me.

I don't mind being told what to do, but I hate not getting credit for what I do. I do the dishes and take the trash out all the time and do a lot of cooking but my wife is a clean freak and gets mad about her having to clean so much, so she gives me credit for messing up the house but no credit for doing what I do. I wouldn't mind it so much if she asked me to do things, I would do them to avoid getting blamed. So to do list are fine as long as you give the person credit and make them feel appreciated for what they do.

Take a look at your to do list. Do you have your priorities straight? If so, tell this person that you understand it needs to be done, but you have other things to do that take priority over it right now. You will get to it as soon as possible.

I just plain old don't like to be told what to do...ask me to do anything but tell me and trust me...it's not getting done....

yea i do its mostly my mom who does stuff like that, but i try to get as much stuff as she wants me to do in one day so i can have the rest of the week to me!!:)
