How to handle being Alone on Valentines Day?

I'm Single right now and Valentines day is coming up and I don't have any 1 in my life right now and I know it's going to bother me so much also because My Ex -girlfriend who I still have feelings for Is back with her old boyfriend and all my friends have some one in their lives to share that day with. Any suggestions on how to handle being alone on that Day would really help

welcome to the club! man, ur not alone. my girl also left. but u just gotta look at it like another day and just thank god he let u live another day. dont think that its Valentines Day and you'll be able to get thru it. besides, girls are expensive, just look at it like u saved money this yr and maybe next yr ull be lucky to have somebody. but in the meantime just live life to the fullest and enjoy being single.

The worst thing that you can do is rush into a relationship because of being alone. Go out and start seeing new people as friends stop picking up the pieces of not yet resolved relationships stay away from "I just broke up with my mate", you could have so much fun just by being someones friend and just think that keeps you in control of if this person is right for you. Smiles.

it's not for another month, so stay hopeful and maybe you'll find a girl by then. If not, plan on going out with a single girl three-four days before valentines day. Have a blast, and then when valentines day comes, you won't even consider it anything special that you're missing out on cause you had a good time with a new girl.

i wish you would've say u will like someone to be there for u and u will be there for them for good and bad time.
and u want someone just for the valentines Day? i think u want to be with someone to get back at ur ex.
be urself, u don't need to prove anything to anyone.

i suggest u stay put, love will happen to u when the time comes whether u r look or not look, it will happen.
i am single to and i learn not to take any holiday too serious, b/c there comes time in live when we might be alone someday. i see HOLIDAYs as every other day just a little special that's all.

LOVE WILL HAPPEN TO U AND EVERYONE OF US WHEN THE TIME COMES.

it could be the perfect day 2 start smth new n excitin!!! dont get upset jus smile n make ur day busy so time rolls faster... i for example spent my last valentine s day alone cuz of the distance factor... i cried a bit but now i know its not a big fuss, like others said maybe u should treat it like a normal day cuz valentine s day is for the ones who r in love n since u arent y celebrate it??? thats like celebratin some1 else`s birthday

Being alone on that day has never bothered me. Whats the big deal anyway ? Its just another day.

Not sure how old you are . .. but if your in school just go to school and come home and do homework - if you're a working adult go to work, go home and have dinner and watch a movie. It's just a day like any other . . . and this year it is on a Wednesday so it's not even a weekend night . . .

ha i usually have to work on valentines day but it's kidna good to stay busy that day or hang with some of your single friends cuz it sucks i know. maybe all us singles should just sleep that WHOLE DAY,

buy something(a little teddy,mug etc..)give it to your mom or friend it will make you feel better then do something you like to do that day!
