I've been best friends with this guy for about a year now and in December he told me he had a huge crush on me and has since May. I pretty much had felt the same way. The problem is he lives 800 miles away. He came to visit me for 6 days at the end of December. Since we both don't want to have an nternet relationship, we decided to stay friends. We pretty much are boyfriend and girlfriend, but there's no stress and pressure to keep a relationship strong. I've become too attached to him and he's the kind of person who is afraid of becoming to close to someone, so he keeps distancing himself from me. I feel so heartbroken and wonder if I'm wasting my time. It's just the fact that I feel so rejected by him. In real life everything was perfect and we we're so in love. Now he just keeps it at a friendship. He loves me and I love him, but I just feel so shut down. What do I do? Should I try not to become too attatched? Am I over-reacting? I'm really depressed.

I am recently single after being in a relationship of 3 years. I read that you should wait at least 90 days before dating again. I have no one in mind, and I seem to attract psychos. I don't drink or smoke, so I don't really like going to clubs...the internet dating sites seem to just freak me out (lol)...do I wait the 90 days then just see what happens, maybe I will meet someone at the grocery store! If it's only been a month and I meet someone, do I tell her "Sorry, I gotta' wait 2 more months before I can date you"?. LOL. Or do I just jump right back in the dating scene? I would love to hear your opinions! Thanx in advance!

Well i'm 13 years old.I had a boyfriend for like 3 weeks until my mom found out.But i still had my grades as they always were..but they got higher.i always had a C in math but then i got it to a B and all of my grades were A's and B's.Even though my mom knew i had the good grades she still didn't want me to.I talked to her about it and asked why but she still said no because i was too young.I told her just only once then i will stop and wait until i'm done with college.Why will she not let me date???

I really dislike my sister's boyfriend because he is so negative. Tonight at dinner he went on and on about things he hates. He also gets defensive and rude. Also, a couple of weeks ago, he told me that I looked older than my older sister! Plus, my sister always pays for dinner when we're out. He sucks!

My mother took care my dying mother in law. With in days of her passing she was way to cozy with my husbands stepfather. Come to find out she replaced him on the will and never told us till he passed 1 year later. Honest, we used to be a very close family and now it is all over. My husbands stepfather bad mouthed me terrible and she never mentioned any of this to us. In fact she said she believed him when push came to shove. She said this was planned for about 10 months before his death. What happened?! Forever Hurt.

how come it seems like you have to be model perfect for guys. it just seems like most guys want a thin, straight-haired, cleared skinned, ditzy girl. as opposed to an average, curly/frizzyish haired, not so cleared skinned, average girl. i know it's not all guys, but most guys seemed to be attracted to them. and be serious about it please.

I am 19 living with my parents and working and going to full time college...and i got in a BAD fight with both of them..and they threatend to cut off my health insurance, car insurance, and kick me out of the house. I am barely making the payments on college, and i cannot be on my own right now......this is not the first time they tried to cut the insurance or kick me out...Im not lazy i work my *** off to payfor college and my car and they expect so much more.. i kind of feel suicidal...not that im going to do it, just im very sad and angry.

ok, my friend of about 6 months flirts with me all the time and we talk, and she acts like she likes me, but then she will be like "hey loser" for no reason and act like she dosnet like me. one time she was standing in front of me and then she said that i was warm or something along those lines and backed up so she was like grinding on me,and just stood there for like 2 minutes. on another ocasion she came up to me and sat on my lap, another time she acted like she was going to kiss me but didnt. she will also stare at me and when i look at her she just keeps staring for a few seconds then usually smiles.

what do you make of all of this?

Theres this girl who im sorta friends with. I have a feeling that she likes me and I dont like her any more than a friend. More over, my own friends dont like her and criticize her often. The Turnabaut (where girls ask guys) dance is coming up and recently she has really began talking to me more and more. If she asks me, I dont wanna say yes cuz i dont like her, and i dont wanna say no cuz im good friends with her. Also, im not gonna make up an excuse cuz i am planning to one way or another go to the dance. I was thinking of telling her that I wanna go as friends if she does ask me. Will that be fine? Cuz I really want to maintain my status quo with my friends who dont like her that much and her.

I'm 23 yrs old and had my first time when I was 19. I came from a Christian household and was always told it was wrong. That didn't stop me from using my free-will and choosing what I thought was best.
Alot of people ask the quesion of, "is it right to have sex before marriage". Most people are of either mind...either its ok, or its totally wrong.
So for those of you who think its wrong, for whatever reason..(Religion mostly! or health concerns, etc.)
Do you think people should get married just to have sex?
I mean, you want all the 18+ up girls and boys to just wait it out?
Ok so let's say ur 20, a virgin, desperate to have the experience so you just run out and marry the first guy who asks you?
That can't be right either.

And oh, the notion of saving it so that you'll have commitment is just bull poop in my opinion. A guy can divorce you as easily as dump you and then you'll have still given it up.

Why should some saying "your married" suddenly make sex alright?

Here's the scoop: This girl, we see each other on a regular basis in social settings, she makes awesome eye contact with me but we never talk. She knows my family a little, I know her family a little better. In fact her parents and I have some financial dealings together and we socialize with each other everyonce in a while.

Dilemma: I'm 36 going on 37. She's maybe 17 I don't know - I haven't checked. So say 20 years. And yes, I would talk with her parents before anything whatsoever and get their permission IF I moved forward.

The Twist: I gave up chasing women a long time ago. I figure if someone is interested she'll say hi. I have no problem holding a conversation with someone I want to talk with. I'd bet money she never says hi. Barring that, I'm happy to keep on keeping on and just live my life.

I'm completely uninterested in screwing up something just to test the waters with her. What thoughts, perceptions or observations do you have?

this boy in my class that i like has been my friend for about 1 1/2 years now, i just realized that i liked him and he's been staring at me a lot lately and we've been flirting: subconsciously flirting for me and i didn't know i was until some boys said to him, "Stop flirting with her." i was sooo emberessed but they didn't say ANYTHING to me. not that day, nor any time after that. we've done this numerous times and i don't know if i should tell him that i like him or not. help?!

I had to go to a meeting w/ my supervisor and the head of human resources. There was an incident at work that really upset me and I was very emotionally upset and my co-worker called our supervisor and told her That I was upset and what had happened to make me upset. My supervisor told my co-worker that if I wanted too, I could go home, so I did. Now my supervisor is saying that she never gave me permission to leave and that I just walked out. She sat right beside me and lied and told human resources that I walked out on my shift. I was suspeneded without pay for a week. Tommorrow I have to meet with them and find out if I am FIRED! What would you do if you were me? What If I am not fired, how do I work with someone who lied and try to ruin my medical career?

I am struggling with a broken relationship. I tend to get overly involved, and invest heavily in a relationship.

Now I continually think about the past, about my wounds, about everything that happened between us, especially the bitter things.

This is giving me grey hair and beard, and worry lines on my face. I don't want all that. I want to come out of it as quickly as I can. I have been told to forget it, but it isn't easy. I am of an overly worrying nature, and the throughts haunt me every single second of my day.

I'm out of job, and so have a lot of time to sit back and worry.

Please advice me on some extraordinary methods to forget someone and get out of this situation.

This may seem like an easy question. But what are the signs that a girl really thinks your "cute", or "hot". I do have some girls stare, and laugh at whatever I say but are there any other signs?... And I really like this girl and want to take it to the next level. Which means I want to be her b/f. What do I say or do? I already flurt with her, but I want to add touching. There are things like touching her on the arm lightly when saying "hi"...but what else is there? GIRLS...what gives you the butterflies when a guy does something to you. Ok, my friends and I cannot figure out this guy. We dated (a month) it ended...we became friends, hooked up a few times..he then said he wanted to be just friends with no sex cuz he doesnt want to lead me on. I said ok. Next thing I know he is IMing me and talking dirty, I go along and he tells me its to hard to be friends w/o sex, but he doesnt see us in a relationship.
