i've been w/ a guy on and off for almost 6 yrs. recent prob is that lately ever since he got a new car... he has been hanging out w/ his friends a lot more. i don't have a prob with him hanging out... but the thing with him is that once he feels like he got all his friends back... he starts to not focus on this relationship. lets say when his friends ditches him for their gf... he would hang out w/ me and focus on me. but if his friend calls him to hang out more he wouldn't care about the relationship. what i mean is that if we have an argument (when he has friends to hang out w/) he wouldn't even care about the argument. when he does NOT have friends to hang w/ he would care and call me back to work things out. the 2nd prob is that when i confront him about it he started getting mad b/c to him i'm "accusing" him of things but he has history of doing this to me. he comes to me if his friends ditches him for other friends or their gf. do you think this guy cares?

I am educated ( I have masters degree) but he has only high school diploma. But he is considerate, very understading and experienced in life. I am sure that I will have no problem with him after marriage but the bad part is our age difference which doesn't allow me to have any special feeling towards him. He really loves me and I can't say him that I don't. Please tell me is age difference much important? To be honest he is not much goodlooking either.

To make this as short & sweet as possible, here's the rundown: My husband's cousin broke up with his girlfriend of 5+ years 3 weeks ago. She is loved by everyone in the family, and from what I understand, the reason for the break up is ridiculous. She is heart-broken and is struggling with many dilemnas, including just where she fits into our family now...she stood as my son's Godmother.
Well, my cousin is coming over to take my kids to a birthday party, and he is bringing his "rebound" girl with him. I am at a loss as to what to do or say. I feel like I will be adding to the ex-girlfriend's hurt if she were to find out. I love her & don't want to alienate her. At the same time, I don't want my cousin to feel that I am choosing "water" over "blood". How can I be courteous to this new girl, yet stand my ground without feeling like I am betraying two people (one or the other) I deeply care about?

We hung out for a little bit last weekend and when he left he said that we could do it again sometime, but since then he's hardly talked to me. When I text him he doesn't text me back and when he does it's kinda just a quick text. I asked him if he was upset at me for something and he told me that he's not, but I can't help but feel like he's not telling me something..then I find out from 2 different people that he's decided to go straight but he wants to wait until he moves away so that he doesn't ruin his "rep". I dont know how to ask him. See this is how its going, we've been going out for almost 5 months now and he's been great He treats me right and tells me all sorts of things I want to hear, but they come from the heart But before we started going out we had to deal with him finally breakin up with his exgirlfriend it was hard cuz he didnt know how to let her go and i wanted him and he wantd me really bad So we just started going out, we never talked about the girl or what happened between them 2 now im feeling a bad vibe becuz we dnt talk on the phone like we use to, when we do talk and i call him he always tells me to hold on and he clicks over like he was on the phone wit someone else, EVERYTIME!! HIs myspace never changed, actually it got even worse He still has his old girlfriend as #1 he has new picof her and she still comments him saying i love you I know there has to be sumthin going on becuz if its been almost 5 months the last comment he sent her was in Nov. My boyfriend an I have been going out for 2 weeks. We started talking 7 months ago. I just never wanted a boyfriend. Well we started talking about doing " stuff "[[not just kissing]] and we were excited about it. We were going to do it when I came back from vacation [[ since i have been gone. ]] Now Im home and I told him last night Dont you think were going a little to fast? He told me today, " Theres nothing to be excited about anymore " [[ Since I said that I wasnt sure if were were going to do anything most likely no ]]And I told him your going to see me! He was like, Well yahh im excited about that too. Well then I told him I could care less if we did anything or not I just want to see you. Then he said You dont care about anything!! Then I got pissed and hung up.

I am 23 years old and I do live with my parents. I am right at 6 months pregnant and the father and I have had some problems. We have worked them out but cant live togather at the moment. My Mother refuses to let me even talk to him or she is going to kick me out and I have no where else to go. So now we are having to act like 15 year old teenagers hiding and sneaking around. What can I do? My mom is very adament about me not seeing or talking to him or I will be kicked out. I love my parents but I cant live like this. I mean him and I will be togather soon and what am I suppose to say. "Hey mom I am leaving" I dont want to so it that way. We have had so so so many fights on this and I just want some peace. I met my biological father when I was 21. I have seen him periodically over the past few years since. He is pretty clearly a serious alcoholic and he is living with his mother. He wants to be a big part of my life now that I have moved back to my hometown to go to law school, but I am very busy and I don't actually like him. For a while, he was calling almost every day, trying to come over to our house to hang out. I don't want to hang out and I don't have time. He is very nice to me, but we have nothing in common. NOTHING. I honestly can say I don't enjoy his company at all.
I feel very bad b/c I know he doesn't have much in his life and seeing me makes him happy, but I have a lot going on and don't feel like I should be emotionally responsible for a stranger.
It was not entirely his fault that he was not around when I was younger. My mother got married when I was two and told him not to come around. He called my grandmother a lot over the years to hear about me.

Believe it or not as cute as I am this has happened to me.When it does happen I feel like I'm an inch tall and I feel embarressed that asked in first place.I think that I have blown allot of opertunitys to meet and date some really nice women because I was afraid to ask because I didn't want to feel bad.Any sugesstions as to how I could stop letting this bother me .
