Just say, "Hi", that usually works if he is interested.

Well school is going to put you two in close quarters--so I would suggest a nice atmosphere while in school and catch up with him outside to see if he even cares to talk. Easy enough to make yourself available to talk---just be around and see if he notices you. No telling what will happen--so get a dose of confidence and walk over---smile, say hi and ask him if he likes coffee---get a cup and have a conversation. If it seems like it won't work---move on---keep going--don't sit around all gooey over something that just isn't going to happen. Good luck

you're in a pretty good situation actually! you see him more than twice a day! i used to have this problem, but its just a concern of overcoming the fear of talking to them in the first place. talk to him whenever u can. some examples...
at the end of class, just go up to him and find excuses to talk about things like, "so, what are you doing for your essay topic?"
at the beginning of class maybe on a monday, walk up to him and ask him about his weekend
and whenever you see him in the halls, always say hi! better yet, "hi, hows it goin?" !!!!! just talk to him! its easy to start a conversation, just work on making them longer every time u talk to him.
GOOD LUCK! i know how u feel!

well first off is thank God that the hard part is over, which was getting this person to notice that you exist. try a casual approach, us guys are not easily bored when talking to a girl.
but when you do talk, here are some psychology approved do's and dont's subjects:
do's:
family, mainly sibilings, brothers and sisters, try to avoid parents.
jobs
vacation spots
dont's :
past relationships, they trigger unevitable feelings of anger/sadness

people in general love to talk about themselves. its human nature. ask him questions...about himself....the best conversationalist are those who listen....think about it yourself? anytime you have had a really good conversation with someone you hardly knew? you were probably talking about yourself in some way.....works everytime! PLUS youre not doing all the talking so it takes a lot of pressure off lol and they walk away thinking they had a wonderful time talking with you...it makes people feel good. try it.
