i'm 13 n i dont think i can ever be mature. like where do adults learn things like certain names of alcoholic drinks, how to have sex, how to be responsible, etc? is there some sorta adulta book that teaches them how to do adult mature things? plz xplain.

First, i got my dad to put an engine in her car for 100 bucks. basically free. since then, the engine went out again. quite a few months later. i attempted to fix the car. i had to get a new head, twice. i ended up spening my own money, which i could not afford. i crawled through the rain and mud in the middle of the night spending countless hours working on this car. i even burnt myself and have a scar for her. if it wasent for me she wouldent have had a vehicle as long as she did.
now she took money the government gave her beyond housing, tuition, books, and bought a practly new car. this isent my issue. my issue is that she will not raise a finger for me. she wont even let her boyfriend help me. even at one point it would have taken him litterly 2 or 3 seconds to help me. litterly, 2, maby 3 seconds. she would not let him.
she is a self centered little prep wana be. and i do not want anythign to do with her.
obviously this has created a huge problem with the family

Am I the only one seeing this? Where is the lady who is confident and optimistic and could be comfortable at a formal Embassy function or military ball? A lady who has the engaging mind of a writer, a love of romance and a passion for GOOD music and the arts and the sea- and does not judge others by their race, religion, age, politics, location or education but instead looks within? A lady who knows the intrinsic value of laughter and thinks that fitness is something that like friendship requires real attention and so they do not smoke, drink, take drugs or bar hop. There must be one lady like this in the world...or am I just dreaming?

I am 25 years old and have been single my whole life. Guys are never interested in me other than as friends. I don't mean to sound egotistical, but I really don't get why SOMEone wouldn't be interested. People always tell me I look like Angelina Jolie. I'm fit, I'm intelligent, I'm wordly, I'm opinionated. I study esoterica. I play in a rock band. I have a job.

I have tried asking friends to set me up - this has NEVER worked. I've never found ANYone compatible via online dating systems. (One actually told me based on my preferences, it had no matches. I actually got a refund.) I tried Craigslist and that was a dead end as well. Whenever I am with a new group of friends who are single, I am always the one who ends up still single in a few months. I get along with people very easily and no one seems to understand how it's possible that I'm single, let alone never had a boyfriend. Every time I ask a guy out/make any move, I get turned down flat. What should I do?

Why is it that I had a wonderful date with a girl and I havent heard from her in almost 3 weeks?
I met a girl after she gave me her number and met for coffee. She felt very comfortable with me from the get go because was beet red alot when I talked to her and she would extend her arm out towards me with her palms up and ask me a lot of questions about myself. She also had me sip her drinks a couple times, and asked me if I wanted to go out for drinks with her at a nice mexican restaurant after coffee. Her and I flirted some more and she laughed at practically anything I said. She also b. She also wanted to show me her new house she was trying to buy.and when I asked her for dinner she smiled broadly and said "I'd love to".

We were supposed to go out again and she hasnt' returned my calls. What's the deal? It's been a few weeks now and she's always returned my calls and has taken lengths to get in touch with me.

I know it's not me. Or is it? Why are they usually so insincere?

Alright my friend to start you can tell just lives the perfect life family is constantly telling her they love her, and everything else; When I first saw her before she knew me she was the very happy, bright, popular girl; then when she meet me she started being exactly like me style wise to. I haven't lived the best life but I try to make the most of it and go on. She asked about my life and I told her, then like after i'm done she says a story just like mine except makes it more "dramatic" and uses different names. Also, like she says like I took her to ozzfest, warped tour, and all that when I didn't. I went but I didn't take her, and like her she has this "boyfriend" that no one has ever heard of or seen. Finally, she is suposedly in a "band" but no one has ever heard them or seen them at all (and i've asked around) even asked the band they were suposdly playing with). Is it just me or does it seem like she is trying to hard, and lying?

Been going out with this girl for nine months. first two months we had some disagreements but the sex was great... never had it like that before; I could say I finally lost my virginity with this girl.
