Why is it that....?

So what are some logical reasons why guys are sometimes so nervous when it comes to talking to girls? I am a year younger that this guy and he has told me that he gets nervous when he is around me. So why do guys get nervous?

because they are afraid that you wont like them and reject them. Guys like that don't always have as much confidence. And nobody likes rejection.
